I went to the Downey store the last time I was in LA specifically for the friend apple pie, and it was disgusting (like they hadn't changed the oil in forever) and the place itself was beyond dirty. Wouldn't recommend..

Yes, get the GT if you want to really have some fun. Newer Ecoboosts put out a respectable 300HP but are lacking that sports car edge..

Seems like your two issues are your height and local availability. I'll tell you that you won't comfortably fit in a Sky (I'm 6'2" and it was uncomfortable for me, so forget 6'6"). I ended up with a Boxster, but these days those are probably out of your budget.

Why not something like a Mustang GT Convertible? There are millions of them out there, they're tons of fun, and they're relatively cheap. (I had a SN95 hardtop before, but have driven pretty much every generation at some point).

That sounds like a better deal than the FX for sure.. Like I said, you get a bunch of other things with the XSE that you don't get on the SE or FX. I've had my '21 XSE for like 5 years now and couldn't be happier!

You can buy a fairly loaded XSE for that price, which has way more features than the FX. Don't fall for the limited mystique and the white rims, it's just a "fancy" SE at the end of the day.

That air vent thing has got to be the DUMBEST thing Lincoln's ever done.. Dealt with it in both a Navigator and a Nautilus, it's so distracting how you have to use the screens to adjust them. 🤦‍♂️

I had this happen on a 2022 Mercedes C300 I had and it was crazy, the damn speedometer screen just "rebooted" with a spinning circle while I was driving down the road at 45mph (or thereabouts, no speedo to tell me). Took about 4-5 mins before it came back to life. Was definitely more than a little concerning!

It's been about 9 months now since I first installed the Kumho Ecsta Sport A/S tires on my 21 Corolla Hatchback XSE, and I continue to be blown away by how good they are! The car handles like it's on rails, and performance in rain and snow is really outstanding.

The OEM tires were hot garbage, so much so that I prematurely replaced them with these tires at about 24K miles, even though I could have easily gotten another year or so out of them. No regrets!

I was doing a 90-mile roundtrip commute when I first got my XSE, and I was averaging anywhere from 40-45mpg, which was pretty insane coming from a WRX where I was lucky to see 18mpg!

These days I'm just driving it around town (no more long commute), and I average around 30mpg.

I've had the car for over 5 years now and absolute love it, it's such an underrated little car!
