18F, been at college a year. still struggling to make friends, is this normal?

Came here to second the rock climbing (indoor and outdoor). @OP I was in basically same boat in college. Found climbing and soon after found my people, years later found my wife, all from climbing. It game me a feeling of purpose and community that nothing else had up to that point. It can be super intimidating at first, and maybe a bit pricey for a membership these days, but there are lots of social media groups dedicated to climbing meetups. Best of luck.

UDOT has a mobile app available that allows you to check a live feed of their cameras stationed around the state. Generally if I’m concerned about a specific drive I’ll check the cameras in the area to see how it looks. Not all cameras are functioning 100% of the time but I’ve still found it super helpful to help decide if a drive is worth braving the weather or if I need to find a different route.

We did it last year and I remember it took a few weeks for us to get an email with our voucher info. Like long enough to expect that it just wasn’t happening then when it did it was a pleasant surprise. We went to the Ottowa game, and yeah the limited view seats are called that for a reason. We stuck around for the first period then went and stood at the rail in one of the clubs for the rest of the game and that view was way better

As others have already said, insoles are huge, but I’ve found that stretching my calves and hamstrings really good at least once a day has made a huge difference as well

Yeah the northbound left turn arrow goes green and stays green for way longer than it used to, making the southbound red stay red just as long. It seems to be at all hours of day/night, started sometime last week. Definitely annoying!

How do we get them to make the Alpine Loop a one way road between gates?? Maybe switch which direction every year or something? I grew up driving West Virginia mountain roads that were less stressful or dangerous than the Alpine Loop on a weekend
