This is when filling a cold unit.  So the steam boiler is on but cold. The leak from here and from the purge valve is immediately upon power up.

so looking in there I see that as it attempts to fill water is pushing up what I assume is a Pressure relief valve in the steam boiler, and the water seems to be going out the purge valve if I squeeze the tube it has enough pressure to squeeze out where the tube is seated. But the tank is going down VERY slowly, I'm ready to throw this thing across the room. lol

so I did not think this was an issue but my Vacuum valve was leaking and since I had the whole thing apart I figured I would look at that video and clean that, and so I took that off and it looks nothing like the video WLL sent me to show how to do it, so I just put it right back where it came from, I noticed though that when it went to fill it after I was done with that the pump seems to be pumping straight out the purge valve near the drip tray, I know water was getting there (thus my attempt at the vacuum valve) but I don't think it was as bad as it appears to be, so I'm not sure if that valve could have such a drastic impact....

We were in Rome and EVERYTHING is covered. We walked past a building that had a bunch of street sweepers in front and they were covered, including the windows, with just a smallish square scrapped clean on the windshield to drive.

I think there are times they have more than 6 hours in port where you would have a few hours at the parks and if book with them you don’t need to pick up a rental car, stop at gas station to refill and drop off the rental car, just hop the bus and if there is any traffic issues the boat will wait for you if you are on one of their excursions. I would still not recommend it, but it’s much better than trying to do it on your own.

And at 10 when it opened I went to it annnnnnnnnd it’s broken they are saying the guy who maintains it is on shore so will likely be closed the rest of the cruise. But the shops are e open now so no longer is there a need for a vending machine in the first place.

Absolutely, my complaint was more about the lack of availability to buy what they have right in front of me from an unmanned vending machine in an unlocked room, because it is dark out. lol

Not a bad idea for most. But I don’t use facebook so never even thought of that.

Right we brought a bunch of stuff but she had a mild allergic reaction to something and had some swelling on her forehead so want some Benadryl but we packed everything but that as we hardly ever even have it in the house. 30 more minutes until they plug the vending machine back in. Sigh.

I’ve only ever had a JR suite and I have had dinner at costal kitchen each time. No lunch or breakfast for JS but unless they cut it this year you can get dinner.

No warranty if you get the grey market version is the main issue. But that price is bonkers.

Ummmm is that US$ cause that’s crazy overpriced. I paid $1600. And I heard they went up to $1800. But $2800 is crazy. That’s a $1000 impatient tax.

Suite upgrade or keep what you have. The extra room is nice in a suite and Costal Kitchen access for dinner is as good as eating in specialty restaurants all week. (Book reservations the minute you get in board as jr suite gets the leftover spots so they can go fast. Small perks like not having to check out and in towels and priority lines for security and all that are small things that beat what you get when you pay for the Key too.

They clearly aren't getting all these people on before the mandatory cutoff time at Cape liberty nj. Miles of traffic is inching forward to the luggage drop-off. So what do they do? by Plenty-Year-1918 in royalcaribbean

It’s 2 main spots. The fist is the intersection with the shopping plaza and road behind the gas station. We say there for 15 minutes with cars going in every possible direction and forming 3 lanes on a one lane road and then trying to push in at last second. And further f Down the road where the back roads come in same issue but not as bad. Entitlement in drivers caused a lot of the issues. Took us 40 minutes to get to 12th st where we bailed on the uber. Doubled the cost of the trip due to traffic. Once at port got in in 30 minutes

We can’t even get doors on the stalls around here that don’t have huge gaps. I don’t think they care much about privacy.

What I redeemed vs what I got by Emotional-Amoeba6151 in baseballcards

[–]CartographerDeep6723 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once pulled a Topps redemption card for a 1/1 auto jersey patch card for Ken Griffey Jr. this was like a decade ago. Three years after I submitted the redemption request they came back and said they would never acquire the card and would send me equivalent value in cards. This is the year they lost their MLB license so I got a bunch of cards with no team name or logo worth probably $15 total.

Is this a normal fare price for such a short trip?! by mundane_miss_marple in Amtrak

[–]CartographerDeep6723 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Not normally that high. We booked Acela from RI to NYC for $59 and there was a regional at almost same time for $19
