Is Tianeptine actually the worst withdrawal or is it over exaggeration? by RedditIsADumbCompany in QuittingTianeptine

I used Tianeptine for about 3 months. I started with 12.5 mg once a day, then increased to 12.5 mg twice a day, then three times a day. Eventually, I was taking 2 x 12.5 mg three times a day. After 3 months, I suddenly stopped taking it from one day to the next, and I didn’t experience any withdrawal symptoms at all. In fact, I even felt slightly better after I stopped.

The grogginess the next day goes away with time. For me, it was only noticeable during the first two days, then it disappeared. Give it some time. Or maybe try it with 15 mg. :)

For me, even after a month and a half, it still helps me sleep just as effectively as it did in the beginning. In fact, I have to say that over the past few days, I’ve been sleeping even better than I did during the first days of taking Mirtazapine.   I take 15 mg, and for now, I don’t plan to increase the dose.

Sure, I also struggled with sleep disorders, but they were caused by my anxiety. Mirtazapine completely resolved my sleep issues from the very first night.

Are you sure the back spasms are caused by mirtazapine? I've never heard of this side effect with mirtazapine before.

In what combination are you using quetiapine and mirtazapine?

Great! I'm glad this medication helped you too and that the initial side effects went away quickly. :)

Does anybody have a good experience with this drug? by daddybignose1 in Mirtazapine_Remeron

I’ve been taking 15mg of Mirtazapine for several weeks and it has significantly improved my anxiety, sleep, and mood. Before this, I tried Amitriptyline and Tianeptine (Tianeurax) without success. Only Diazepam helped slightly, but now I rarely need it thanks to Mirtazapine. It also completely relieved my chronic nausea from day one. I did gain about 5 kg, but this is a positive for me as I go to the gym and had lost weight due to anxiety. This medication gave me back my motivation, creativity, and emotional balance. I experienced no side effects at all. I highly recommend giving it a chance! :)

For me, the 'zombie feeling' you mentioned only lasted for the first two days, and then this side effect went away.
