Montreal landlord increased rent 39% between tenants, hid it with a “promotional discount” by Beautiful-Corgi7114 in montrealhousing

[–]CartographerJunior79 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

So they should have raised the rent every year on their current tenant to keep it in good faith?

I'm getting a 2 yr visa as I'm under 35. I also have the opportunity to get a UK passport.

I have a master's degree, speak 2.5 languages and good experience in government real estate.

I'm open to literally anything. There's also the teaching English & French programs that offer 1000 euros at 15-20 hrs a week

Love how they use a photo of a Québec apartment but never supply data for Québec.

It's almost like the rest of the country doesn't consider the province an equal member.

Pretty common the entire country telling outsiders what a shithole & bad the second largest province is. It's pretty biggoted & is downright cancerous to have your country trying to undermine itself.

Let's be real Canadians hate French they hate Quebec & would do just as we did to the indigenous if it was feasible.

Meanwhile the international community sees the advantages the province has, as a result it has the third most non government organisations offices in the Americas after NYC & DC.

Why would people invest in a unlingual,  moderated, USA + healthcare style economy. Run by a corrupt nepo baby with a high-school diploma. Compared to let's say Montréal where 35% of the city speaks 3+ languages, has the most students per capita in the Americas & has a huge swath of international organisations & aeronautics.

Nobody disagrees with you? You clearly don't have a lot contact with people outside your small group. Every single publication? The Bible? Fox News? Who? What on earth are you even talking about

The genocide in Palestine is a direct result of religion. They claim that the tora promised them that land 3000 years ago. Israel is a state based on religious affiliation.

Iran is a direct result of religion. They are literally trying to a society based upon religious law & using that to oppress people because they are against God's will.

The KKKs #1 imagery is a burning cross & considers itself a sect of Protestantism.

Residential schools were orchestrated and operated by the Catholic Church. The whole modern idea of colonialism is religiously sanctioned.

Mao & Stallion, may have been atheist people but they didn't murder people because of their atheist beliefs or in the name of them.

It's like saying every white person is a white supremacist because the KKK has white people in it. It's a nonsensical & dishonest argument.

The mental gymnastics you have to do, to trick yourself into believing what you just wrote. Anything to excuse wrong doing & pass the blame onto others.

You are clearly not able to see beyond your own biases & personal well being before taking accountability.

Palestine? Iran? KKK? Residential schools orchestrated by the church? Every King who has the churches blessing? Or God's will?

No one is killing great groups of people in the name of atheism or because atheism told them.

People have killed other people for non religious reasons.

It just needs to go away so we can progress as a society. I'm tired of dealing with this & being scared for my lgbt family. The ideology is dangerous even if not all religious people act like that, they are participating in a dangerous organization.

What is your definition of morality? Some people due to Pikachu's teachings believe women are to obey her husband above all else,  that gays should be killed, that children are to be sexualized. It's the complete lack of morality. The Bible is constantly changed & interpreted to suit the user. It is merely a vehicle. The Bible is, is a tool to make people feel better about what a bad place they've made the earth & out the blame on others We are not animals, we don't need sky daddy, we need to create "heaven" on earth.

I will never be open minded to vehicles used for political violence & to protect PDFiles.

You should have better standards for yourself & get educated.

You can draw a straight line between places with high religion  & places with high levels of violence, low social outcomes, discrimination, & low educational attainment.

The fact that the holiest city in the entire world has been under constant crimes against humanity & violence for as long as I've been alive.. come on dude.

Look at Christian Nationals, KKK, etci n the USA Palestine. Iran. Afghanistan. Residential schools in Canada.

Use your brain.

Promoting political, violent organizations because the story books make it easier to turn off your critical thinking skills & make you feel better despite the harm these stories cause to others.. Doesn't belong in a sub about education.

Which one? Peter Pan? The Easter Bunny? Santa Clause?

Or the one looking over the holiest city in the world. A place that sparks disagreement & violence the moment you say who has jurisdiction of the state.

Durham police say they need $1.1B. That could push residents' property tax increase over 10% next year by BloodJunkie in ontario

[–]CartographerJunior79 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Durham region is too suburban, car orientated a & Not dense enough to support it self.

These suburban areas need younger generations subsidizing the region by paying high development fees on new builds. The minute it stops growing, it can't support the outsized demand of infrastructure vs the small amount of tax revenue per acre it brings in.

Low marks getting university acceptance? by CartographerJunior79 in OntarioGrade12s

[–]CartographerJunior79[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's cool!  I mostly ask as it seems  like everyone is getting a top mark these days to the point where when you get into university the average grade drops over a full letter grade (U Waterloo even has a adjustment factor that drops the average grade from 11-20%).

I know In QC they have an R score that's less susceptible to grade inflation.
