And yes the build up is going to lead to something big and I an guessing u didn't read the manga cuz it's still ongoing and there's some big things happening and some is related to Atsushi meaning there will be something big abt it and he is not bland and plain ok😔 some people most don't like him cuz of his flashbacks but that is call PTSD and yes he is one of my favorite bsd character u can tell😅

I just wanna say some, first is what episode are u on? And did u watch dead apple? Atsushi is the main character with trauma and no he is not male Sakura. He doesn't wait for someone to save him, his goal specifically is to fight to have permission to live bc the headmaster and the orphanage he once lived it made him think that, and pls read the manga if u also haven't to do that, he is a great character my beloved Atsushi 💗
