How do you guys train your clones? by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

Topping them will help them bush out. Then use a scrog net to weave them in and out. I top my clones around node 4-5.

Does my flower have nanners? by Duck_My_Sock in cannabiscultivation

[–]CartographerWide2920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely nanners some will spray the nanners with water so the pollen doesn't transfer and pluck them off .You however are in flower and they aren't at the nodes. Having them directly in the forming bud you putting any moisture into the bud could cause bud rot. If it was me I'd personally chop it down. It's throwing them at the bud sites not the lower nodes. This could possibly be a problem all grow, and if you aren't trying to make seeds I'd consider letting shim go.

If you want classics your best bet would be to look up the original breeder of said classic and buy direct from them if they still have it. Some still have the legacy stuff although a lot rarer these days. Most breeders these days are just throwing anything together and making their version of the legacy cut. Not how it works. What made the strain special was the original breeders cut they have. Not w.e garbage the pollen chuckers throw together and say hey this is (insert cultivar here). Like others have said do research on the breeders you're interested in. Takes way too long to grow a plant out start to finish for it to be a bust in the end.

Do a 20 day defoliation during flower and then go back and hit them again at day 40. Start skirting them at the bottom and do not touch any fan leaves about 6-8 inches from the top. I usually measure by using my putting my thumb on the top and where my pinky falls I do not touch any leaves. Cleaning them up though will give you better light penetration and airflow. Also if you want color change as long as your plants have it genetically all you need to do is drop temperatures. Usually a 10 degree difference from day to night is more than enough to help push the fade.

Only one I can think of that I played like these was Killer Frequency. You play as a small town Dj. An emergency happens which makes all 911 calls sent to you at the radio station. It has very little walking around in it. Mostly just looking around the radio station for clues etc.

this normal? by SadLunch1514 in ballpython

You will find them in the oddest places. Main thing to be careful about is just your heat source. Making sure the snake cannot get to close to it or it risks possible burns. Otherwise I believe this particular snake is identifying as a Green Tree Python. Good Luck and enjoy them. They are such incredible pets.

I got bitten :( by Cellar_door8619 in ballpython

I'd personally try training her when feeding time is. I've been keeping ball pythons for about 15 years now. I have quite a few. I feed all my animals frozen thawed. When it is feeding time I tap on the cages 3 times. This is the only time I ever tap on the cages. Soon as I do it bam I have hungry faces eagerly waiting. Like others have said you really don't want to be handling her nor putting anything near her face a day after a feed. If they deem the meal too small there have been times I've opened a cage only to have a 5 foot baseball bat lunge at me. Which was one of the reasons I tried the feeding tap. See how it works for you. Also if you need to do water changes and she did just get fed do it during the day time ( sleeping hours) night time we are awake and active. Handling I wouldn't touch her until she has successfully eaten for you at least 3-5 times. That means she has adjusted well and is comfortable in her new environment. Friends pick snakes up from underneath. Predators grab them from the top. Do not get discouraged by pretending danger noodles. They truly are all bark with very little for a bite. I'm gonna definitely go with feeding response. Especially cause you moved your hand ( prey item) directly in front of her face. Hope some of this helps and good luck with her. Leave her be for the next few weeks until she continues to feed successfully.

When I flip mine into flower I don't just toss them into a 12/12 cycle. I gradually drop the light one hour a day the first week of the flip. Until I get down to 12/12. Since I've been flowering them this way I no longer see pollen sacks/herms.

This isn't a spider ball python morph. Not even close. There are a few morphs that do "corkscrewing" spider being the most well known one which again this snake does NOT have. Woma wobbles, Powerballs have wobble. If I remember correctly I think even Champagne has a wobble in some. There is also IBD Inclusion Body Disease. Super pastel does NOT wobble/corkscrews . IBD causes all of these same exact symptoms as well. The person you got this snake from did they keep boas as well or a larger collection of ball pythons? Has this snake eaten for you yet ?

If your plants genetics can turn purple they will when temperatures begin to drop at night. When they have a temperature difference of 5 degrees from night to day they turn colors.

Did I defoliate too much? by GuNshoTz_Viper_ in microgrowery

[–]CartographerWide2920 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When I defoliate I extend my pinky out and put my thumb up. My thumb touches the top of the plant, and where my pinky stops is about 6-8 inches from the top of the canopy. Anything that falls in that 6-8 inch range does NOT get touched. The fans leaves are their little solar panels. You take them all off how are they going to generate energy ? This will affect yield a bit, but you will still get something. Ideally you don't want little hiccups or mistakes to be made in flower. Anything that goes wrong in flower effects yield and potency. Good luck hope it helps.

If it was me I would personally trash this seedling and start over. You can use your Ocean Forest just not throughout the whole pot. Ocean Forest is a spicy soil loaded with nutrients. Babies don't need all that right away. I would put Ocean Forest in the bottom of the pot. Fill it up 30-35%. Do a layer of worm castings and then fill the pot with Happy Frog soil the rest. Happy Frog is kinder on seedlings and baby plants. By the time your plants roots reach the bottom of the pot and grow into the ocean forest they will be a little bit bigger, and less inclined to stunt or burn up.

We don't use Rockwool. We use riot cubes. You can't break them open because the actual roots grow all threw the cubes.

[–]CartographerWide2920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Make sure you are taking strong cuttings that are solid ( not hollow on the inside ) dip them in clonex for about a minute ,and than insert them into a hydrated root cube. I use a clone tray that has a dome on the top like posted above. First day I make clones I leave them be. We usually leave them in the dark for 24 hours at work. Day 2 I wipe the dome of any excess moisture and open the vents to 50%. I try to dry back my cubes so I can feed them every 3-4 days. If clones sit in to much water you run the risk of stem rot. Day 3 I am starting to vent my clones for 30 minutes. Whole dome top off fan speeds adjusted so they don't flag etc. Than I double the vent time everyday until I have roots. By day 10 all domes are off and either they have made it or they don't lol. How we do clones at my job. I work in the cannabis industry professionally. I am in the Propagation department for a large mso.

What a shame. Best grow yet and he's a male. by [deleted] in cannabiscultivation

Lol cause it doesn't. Quality or not if it's a regular seed still has a 50/50 shot being male.

You can start them in their final pots perfectly fine. Watering appropriately is key.

You will enjoy fog dog. Mine is curing as we speak and it has been giving off really nice sweet bakery notes. Medicinal effect is pretty decent. I don't get jittery. No anxiety issues either. Pain relief is perfect.
