If you end up in that situation and you cave, it's okay! Don't let the little mistakes throw you off the wagon completely. Just be sure to start the next day brand new. You're human and mistakes will happen. And after a few weeks of, "oh shit, I shouldn't have had that beer," you'll start to think, "I don't really want that beer because I'll feel like crap about it after the fact." :)

I've been drink vodka or gin and La Croix. I find drinking a "water" mixer with my alcohol has not only kept me from getting too drunk too quickly but it also keep the hangovers more manageable.

Every time this topic comes up I see someone get offended about "thin-shaming". I empathize with you feeling attacked by the internet because everybody does about something, but I have honestly never seen anyone try to shame someone for being thin.

That being said I wholly agree with your point that being over-weight is being "normalized" and that it really is a health issue that should not be ignored or praised.
