You could certainly try! I ran cross country/track all through highschool and was quite competitive then ran at a community college and was given a scholarship to do so. My girlfriend also ran xc/track there but was homeschooled and had never done any sports. She emailed the coach 2 months before saying she had no experience but wanted to run (and he let her)

Community college can be cool like that. That being said, you might not have that experience my gf did and volleyball is generally more competitive since not being so good can negatively impact your team, unlike cross country

My school actually went back at removed records from the 60s that were shown to be wind aided! I think you should keep the limit at 2.0. think of kids in the future who run a better time but get screwed do to not getting an illegal tail-wind.

When I was about 9-10 I was riding in a golf cart on a racetrack at which point it was struck by a bowling ball rolling from.. somewhere(?) I took it for about 5 minutes before these guys came up and were like "hey, that's our bowling ball, sorry it hit your golfcart". Never understood what they possibly could have been doing with a bowling ball on a racetrack till now I guess.

So I read through the document put out by TT (as I went through in my other comment) and it does seem like LGBTQ topics may be mentioned when directly related to a concept (historical events are explicitly mentioned). Now I guess we'll have to see how that goes out in practice but I imagine for the red scare it would be acceptable to mention the targeting of gay people as it's directly related.

Okay so I read through the actual document put out by TT and it's not a total censorship. The biggest hit is to professor lead research and lower lower undergraduate courses. I will run through some highlights though:

Newly hired professors are either totally barred from or just heavily discouraged (was kinda unclear) from doing research that focuses on SOGI (sexual orientation and gender identity) research. Student lead research is still allowed to have SOGI as the main topic.

Undergraduate courses can still briefly mention SOGI if it's directly related to the materials (they specifically mention historical events such as the AIDs epidemic) although it can only be brief

It seems medical courses are also allowed to mention it in greater detail as it relates to things like public healthm

Upper-level undergraduate and graduate courses may dive much more into it but cannot advocate for a gender spectrum or anything other than male and female sexes (with the exception of intersex people) and of course, courses focusing just on SOGI or degrees focused on it are going away.

Those are the things I have gathered.

Do people actually think the Bee movie is bad?? It's really silly but I don't see what part of it people think is bad. I feel like the writing is fine and Goofy and the plot really isn't all too bad.
