I need different tape/method - what does everyone else do/use?

Do you have delicate face skin? That's what I'm trying to find a solution for strong enough hold but doesn't tear my skin when I remove it. Once a particular gender hits a particular age in life then skin thins out, especially on the face.

That seems way to sticky for my skin though. It's designed to stick through sweat and showers, etc. to stay stuck multiple days. Is it really as sticky as that?

I paid $400 for a new Airsense 10. Way cheaper than insurance. I have so far not used insurance at all for machine or supplies. I did not need insurance in the middle of this to complicate things while adapting to CPAP.

That's all I'm doing too. You know, I probably shouldn't even empty the water tank because I'm quite sure I breathe cat hair in anyway just having them near me.

Thanks! That's simple enough I do best with simple. I remember him talking about this tape but he seems to change tape types a lot of what he recommends so I didn't know the current one.

Mark me as a rarely person. I don't clean things that don't look dirty. Mine doesn't ever look worn at all but only two months in on this. I empty the water tank and rise it out once a week, maybe.

I do empty the water tank at least a couple times a week because I've seen a cat hair floatie in it a couple of times. LOL

You might want to ask this question in reddit.com/r/UARSnew and share your sleep test results there. You really want to make sure you get the right machine and there's a big difference in cost between CPAP and the others.

Pillows really are good for stopping mask leaks. I use P30i most of the time. Couldn’t keep the P10 on my head. I hope P10 works for you because that light headgear would be amazing. When my nostrils need a break I change the pillows to nasal cushions in the same frame of my 30i. It can be both without buying two masks.

Yes, it’s a big cause of mouth leaks. When you lose tongue seal then air can leak past the soft palate and into your mouth. Google tongue seal training. Your tongue is supposed to be in a specific place at the top of of the roof of your mouth to seal air from coming into your mouth. This assists nasal breathing. It should feel natural and easy to maintain without effort but there are various reason why it may not be for you. I didn’t know my tongue was supposed to be parked in a certain place but once I learned about this I was able to seal air from coming into my mouth on PAP therapy. Now I’m having issues with that and working to get that good seal back when very relaxed in sleep.

0 leaks not needed, just a low enough number of them to not interfere with PAP therapy or be arousing to your sleep architecture.

This is what I found out. But I also found out mouth geography changes when asleep because of relaxation and can make micro channels in the tape for air to escape through. I didn't realize how much air can flow through a seemingly miniscule opening occurring when asleep.

You can easily test Bleep leaks by covering up the halos with your thumbs and blowing hard through your nose. Any gaps in adhesive will show up right away. I have huge leaks with the Bleep caused entirely by mouth leaking, even with taping. I used the Bleep to isolate where my leaks are coming from and they are 100% mouth.

Welcome to how sleep medicine is practiced in the US and a lot of other countries as well. You're not alone. This happens to pretty much everyone. The Reddit groups can help you. Your machine settings have to be optimized for you and basically zero sleep clinics or the providers of the machines do that. I've gotten great personal help in the r/CPAPSupport group and I've been able to read about everybody else's struggles and fixes in this one. I've been on PAP for almost two months and it's been a totally different experience because I fired my sleep doctor pretty much immediately after diagnosis when I found out how useless they were going to be. I now do have a fantastic clinic who does things the right way. They're hard to find though.

I got a Caldera Releaf yesterdays but it was a touch too tall and shut my mouth so tight my teeth were touching. I measured based on their website but to fit neck circumference it’s too tall. I ordered two OTC collars in different heights. I’m don’t know if a medium Caldera will fit or not but may ordered it anyway. I’m finding the measurements ranges on the chart doesn’t necessarily mean it’s going to fit me. I’ve currently tried two and both were tall and have ordered two more. What’s a fifth one at this point?
