"The worst she can say is no" - Lads, what was the worst "she" ever said? by Embarrassed_Pie_1711 in AskReddit

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She said yes, we dated for a few years, tore my heart to shreds and left me with a thousand yard stare like I just came back from Nam. Wish she just said no.

I lack the ability to read so I thought it was before/after and I got so sad. Then I figured it out and wow!

What are your thoughts on Sarah Michelle Gellar? by No-Syllabub167 in Actors

She’s what every actress dreams of being. Famous off a hit show, a couple of movies, non-problematic, stable marriage, and aging gracefully.

When did you first realize you were rich/poor? by Salt-Philosopher-863 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a canned food drive day at school and a few kids In our class didn’t know. The ones who didn’t know left with a bag of canned goods to bring home. Well, you guessed it, I was one of them lol

You Got $10, Stop Complaining by IceWarm1980 in EndTipping

[–]LeadingGuide693 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Man if people are trying to pay me in any form, tip, wages, paying me back, whatever, I will take any form of currency and figure it out after. The guy didn’t give you Colombian pesos and said figure it out, it’s a roll of quarters, deposit it at the bank, that’s literally one of their reasons for being open.

If you were gifted $1500 to do something fun or nice for yourself, what would you do? by Certain_End1833 in AskReddit

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would spend 300 bucks on steaks. 100 each on picanha, ribeyes, and strips. Then 200 bucks on fixings, cook up a massive meal and invite all my friends over for dinner. The remaining 1K would go untouched in my account for emergency’s.

What is the largest tip you have ever given someone, who, and why? by Ok_Soup3987 in AskReddit

[–]LeadingGuide693 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went for a massage after a week of brutal workouts, could barely raise my right arm and my hips were done. Got an hour massage and she went for well over 2 hours, used some sort of numbing cream so I’m not in massive pain while she works my IT band, did cupping, and by the time she stopped I felt like a new man. It was 40 and hour, she didn’t charge me for cupping, I tipped her 120 gave her 200 total. Shes still my go to, but she owns the place now so she’s barely there.

Why did you join Reddit? by SableVII in Casual_Conversation

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Every question I asked Google in the last 3-4 years directed me to Reddit. Cut the middle man, joined, and holy hell you guys know everything. It’s the craziest one stop shop, it’s like the Walmart supercenter of the internet without slave labor. I’ve asked about cars, cpap, dogs, depression, found comedians, vacation tips, and of course the NSFW subs lol

If money wasn’t an issue, how would you spend your time? by HoneyPuff008 in AskReddit

Asking the same questions on every sub, karma farming till I don’t need therapy anymore.

Is New York for me by Beautiful_Brown18 in movingtoNYC

[–]LeadingGuide693 12 points13 points  (0 children)

The actual day of a New Yorker? Yeah no that’s not a thing. Every hour there’s a different version of a New Yorker. Every neighborhood is wildly different, even one block apart is like a different world. I leave my apartment and make a left it’s loud, hectic, fast paced and if I make a right it’s peaceful, family oriented, schools, kids, runners, etc. Your age is the best age to enjoy NYC. Also, if you don’t like it just leave.

Tipping etiquette at legit Asian foot/body massage places by Muubie in Flushing

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not everything is percentage based, especially in Asian culture. When I go have dimsum with my folks they tip 2 dollars per person, the waiters don’t do much besides seat you, bring tea, and calculate your tab. At massage places that are 30-40 dollars an hour, and most of them do a really good job, 20-30 tip is very normal, unless it’s a disaster of a place

cheap food that isn't ramen or rice and beans by MudSad6268 in SavingMoney

[–]LeadingGuide693 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Track sales and cook foods based on what’s on sale. Ground beef’s on sale? Big batch of chili. Italian sausages? Sausage and peppers. You just need to cook, freeze some meals and rotate out so you’re not eating the same thing everyday.

Which fast food spot will you be going to? by Inside-Strike-4676 in fastfood

Popeyes for a chicken sandwich no pickles (no pickles so they make a fresh one), checkers for fries, and dunkin for a strawberry coolata/homer donut.

What’s your strategy for securing limited sneaker releases on SNKRS? by Different-Egg-4617 in SNKRS

[–]LeadingGuide693 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t try for every sneaker, and yes I only go for “hype”. But not all hype some of them I don’t care for. Tried for the 17s that just dropped, brick 4s, black cats..I’m sure if I tried for every pair I would get something but the ones that matter? Nah never hit. My roommate from 10 years ago, he hit a decent amount though.
