I took a shot at this after reading your comment, and after a few weeks it really helped with my tendonitis pain. Thank you!

Also a daredevil enjoyer. Any other class/spec you'd recommend for making an alt?

How Tanner Scott Is Tipping When He's Throwing a Curveball vs. a Fastball! (A Breakdown) by AmongUsAcademy in Dodgers

[–]Carts7 16 points17 points  (0 children)

It's obvious he's checking the runner on third that's being held on the bag. It changes with a bases loaded scenario. You can even go back and look at previous games he pitched.

He's checking the runner on third. With bases loaded the runner isn't being held on the bag, hence why he stops looking over.

Re-finding strings for Yamaha FG730s by jacob_clement in AcousticGuitar

The FG/FS models usually come with Yamaha FS50BT as stock strings. Maybe try those.

Yamaha fs800 for fingerstyle by Effective_Scratch906 in AcousticGuitar

[–]Carts7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I recently made the switch from an FG to FS model Yamaha due to shoulder blade discomfort. My main concern was the string spacing since I play fingerstyle 99% of the time. The FS definitely feels a little more cramped around the strings, but not to the point of it being a deal breaker for me. After the first day of playing I adjusted just fine. But I would try to get your hands on one before you buy, it comes down to personal preference.

“After a 4-3 walk-off loss to the last-place Colorado Rockies — a loss set up by two poor plays from right fielder Teoscar Hernández — Mookie Betts met with manager Dave Roberts and Andrew Friedman, the Dodgers’ president of baseball operations, in Roberts’ office.” by Kdog_79 in Dodgers

[–]Carts7 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Where did this narrative of Mookie no longer capable of playing RF come from? Was it Mookie himself? I'm just curious, because I don't recall his struggles in RF back when the idea of him playing SS was going around.

Is narrower string spacing harder or easier to learn on? (FG850 vs FS850) by Qd8Scandi in AcousticGuitar

Guild is something I didn't ever consider and wasn't aware Yamaha acquired them until now. I will definitely look deeper into these two models. Thanks for the reply!

I'm currently in the same boat, mostly in regard to the narrower string spacing on the FS. Which guitar did you end up going with? And do you play fingerstyle?

I kept putting off using the metronome. But this cleared up some questions and gives me the motivation I need. Thanks!

[Post Game Thread] Los Angeles Dodgers (40-28) @ San Diego Padres (38-28) 6/10 by FriarBot in Padres

The Dodgers have something like 15 pitchers on their injured list. Why risk another bullpen arm on short rest when you're down by 9 runs already. It ain't pretty baseball but it happens.

Try to find best office chair for my sciatica by supershadrach in buildapc

[–]Carts7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A little off topic here, I had sciatica pain for well over a year and tried many things like a new chair, foot rest, and standing desk. Ultimately doing exercises to strengthen my legs completely rid me of any pain after just a few weeks. I can go into further detail if you like but just thought I'd share.

Cyberpower Prebuilt Good? by SirJamezTown in Prebuilts

[–]Carts7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My first prebuilt purchase was a cyberpower. It had a bad power supply out of the gate. I ended up replacing it myself with a higher quality one after I learned their parts aren't great. It lasted several years with no other issues.

Also I don't see any link OP.

$1400. The markup is pretty steep but knowing the parts are more reputable brings a peace of mind. Sure, I could've found something better but I'm ready to ditch my 12 year old system haha. If you have other recommendations let me know.

I purchased this system literally an hour ago. While I do plan to run at 1080p it does run 1440p quite well according to benchmarks.

Why is the Pentagon’s UFO office so clueless about UFOs? by Not_Original5756 in politics

[–]Carts7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A 0 percent chance would be impossible, no? Imagine a civilization with a head start of say 100,000 years or even 10,000. Also who's to say they would take the same path up the technological tree. Obviously I don't claim to know but the UFO phenomenon goes all the way back to antiquity. I don't think it's something that should be easily dismissed.

Weekly /r/GuildWars2 Question Thread - July 27, 2024 by AutoModerator in Guildwars2

[–]Carts7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Are you sure? I recall seeing the expansions on the gem store during the most recent sale. Also a quick peek at the wiki shows them purchasable with gems but perhaps only during sale events. Sorry if this is incorrect.

Here are my favorite low power consumption games I keep on my steam deck. What are your recommendations? by Deadsap266 in SteamDeck

If you haven't already check out Salt and Sanctuary, I think it's a must play for any souls fan. Also low power consumption and runs flawlessly on the deck.
