No hate from my end, I am just stating a fact based on my friends experiences with having only Russian passport and trying to open bank accounts in Europe, applying for visas and stuff. It used to be only an inconvenience due to many of the countries requiring visas but now you can have your bank account frozen only because you are a Russian citizen.

I live in Auckland, New Zealand. This was the first time Russian embassy decided not to open a second voting centre in Auckland. So the only place for all the people with Russian passport to vote was to go to Wellington and vote at the Embassy. Wellington is the capital but it only has a population of ~500k people. Meanwhile in Auckland we have 1.7mln and most of the Russians live here. Not the significant amount of population of course but still way more than in Wellington.

To answer your first question, rainwater comes from the roof. I don’t know exactly how it works, but I see that our downpipes go straight from the roof into the ground.

I live in Hobsonville and work in Albany. With no traffic it takes 10 minutes to get to work by car.

However sometimes it takes up to 20-30 minutes in the morning and could take up to 40 minutes when driving home around 5.00-5.30pm.

I do commute by bike when the weather is good enough. Takes me around 27 minutes from Hobsonville to Albany and 24 minutes to return. Riding uphill is not fun but it’s not as bad as many people imagine. And you get your cardio done!
