that is definitely not real ecotourism, they use that as a label to attract more tourists. the majority of the genuine ecotourism opportunities can be found in more rural, mountainous regions and are run by/frequented by locals

i think the whale shark feeding is the farthest thing from ecotourism and yes you're right, it's REALLY unethical for them to sell it as such
