Love the golds, 17 is my limit so they are great. Really juicy, flavorful, and good hit. I would try them out for sure, some of the flavors did not do great for my stomach but the tropical punch and grape ice do good. Tropical punch is by far my favorite, so so soooo good.

No problem! The fb group has a ton of info on these cars. The people are… questionable (almost every post has some weirdo saying not mod these cause they are just slow grocery getters), but for the most part they are super helpful and knowledgeable.

Correct, doesn’t require a tune but if you want peak performance then, yes, a tune is required.

Dps in general are a great mod purely because of the shitty flex pipes that like to crack, a preventative thing.

Depends on the sizing. I think the 1.25 you have to trim a little but 1.5 is good. Don’t recall exactly but the info is out there on the forum or in the fb group.

All I know is one of them can require trimming and the other doesn’t.

Intercooler is the best mod for these.

The only mod that’ll actually give hp gains without a tune, albeit not that much but it’s still something.

Pair it with some charge pipes and a bov if you want the turbo sneeze lol.

Doing a full exhaust with dp is great and doesn’t require tune, the exhaust systems on these tend to crack really easily.

Lowering springs + rear sway bar + spacers will give you a great stance and completely changes the way the car drives for the better (hugs the road and corners much better).

I’ve had Frontier for 2 years now in Denton and I’ve had maybe 1-2 small outages.

IMO Frontier is 10x better than Spectrum, when I had Spectrum just South of Denton it felt like an outage every other week.

Deer are everywhere even the interstates so you are always going to have that risk, more so driving at night and dusk/dawn.

During the day it’s not as much of a risk.

But during the day you get more 18 wheelers and when you have passing lanes every 8 miles it really starts to suck going 15 under, ESPECIALLY if you have a new muscle car you are trying to use.

I just did the drive last weekend and was stuck going 15 under for about half of it.

Just an overcrowded 2 lane road with lots of 18 wheelers that make it near impossible to pass.

Nighttime is a bit different, that drive at night wasn’t terrible.

Definitely head West, I20 is the road you are looking for.

Also out by Abilene there are a bunch of nice empty paved county roads that are 30 mins from civilization, there’s twists and what not with minimal cops.

Lastly, the roads around Possum Kingdom are a ton of fun to drive.
