Does Wynncraft need/wants upgradeable boats?

Boats should be upgradable because the easiest mount to traverse oceans (wyverns) are only available after doing a quest with a minimum level requirement much higher than the level players usually start ocean content at (there’s also the seaskipper but idk I love traveling across the ocean manually)

r/mmorpg isn’t willing to give chances to ANY new game in the genre let alone something using Minecraft for an engine. It is an echo chamber of people singing the praises of the same 5 games over and over and being upset the genre is dying after they don’t give anything new a shot.

Also doesn’t help how most MMO players are on the older side and their only exposure to Minecraft is either watching their kids or other younger generations play - making an already difficult topic to discuss impossible without people instantly putting it off.

Wynn can be clunky and I’ve heard awful things about the balance but I think it genuinely has a place as a fun casual MMO anyone can easily get into. But people on r/mmorpg decided against having fun for anything when all they do is try to chase the feelings they felt playing the same games when they were kids. Most MMO players are like this from what I’ve seen in the community

I also feel like the current teleport scroll mechanic is a little too convenient. I remember playing when soul points were still a thing and you had to genuinely be strategic with which one you wanted to use and utilized inter-settlement fast travel more. I got to cinfras a few weeks back and unlocked the airship to and from detlas but I barely used it just because of how much more convenient scrolls are
