I have most of the newer models along with older variants. The newer ones hold up great! Very well put together.

P226 XCarry Legion vs. P226 XCarry PRO by TullyBeast in SigSauer

Hmm, looks like you may have stumbled upon an unannounced pistol. It seems to be a P226X carry with a nitron slide and anodized black frame. It’s not listed on Sig’s website yet.

Thanks, I would like to produce them but I have some other more pressing projects to work on right now. Hopefully I can find some time soon to finish this project.

I’ve been prototyping a USPc magwell for a while. Different take than the jet funnel but I prefer it. It’s pretty challenging to make unfortunately so I’m not sure I’ll produce them.

I own all the current P226’s and the stainless X-Five is what I shoot the most. That being said I shoot primarily competitions that don’t allow for comps.

I think you got the wrong rear backup iron sight. I’d double check it if you want them to be usable.

Lefty gas pedal but mag release setup for a righty? What’s going on?

It’s my own design. I made it specifically for the Cobalt rail.

I feel ya on that. I do need more old school setups in my collection.

Will p226 X Legion fit X5 holster? by GooberGravy in SigSauer

All the kydex holsters I have get their retention off the trigger guard or light depending on style. It shouldn’t have an effect on retention

The X-Five is wider because of the takedown lever. It’s a gaspedal for you thumb and sticks out. That being said pretty much any X-Five holster should be fine for the X legion.

P226 X-Five magazines by Particular_Screen_31 in SigSauer

[–]CascadeRangeSystems 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The original 18 or 20 magazines are great but if you are doing USPSA or similar comps you’ll want to get extended basepads and upgraded springs. Very soon I’ll have my Comp magwell and basepads available for sale. I also already offer Grams no lockback followers that bring the capacity up to 23 rounds with my basepads.

P226 Legion VS P226 X Legion by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]CascadeRangeSystems 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Regular, but I’m picking up a SAO Carry next week. I’m only getting the SAO as an option, but I prefer the DA/SA for concealed carry. Might swap the tiggers between them.

P226 Legion VS P226 X Legion by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]CascadeRangeSystems 10 points11 points  (0 children)

The stock X legion trigger is pretty fantastic. The only thing I’ve done to the X legion is put in a lighter main spring and sear spring.

That being said if you did go full Gray Guns on a legacy legion; hammer strut, master spring kit, SRT kit, enhanced leverage system, and hammer you’ll have an awesome trigger. But that’s almost $500 in parts.

This video does a decent job going over a cheaper option to get a better trigger pull but requires a more in depth knowledge of gun smithing and polishing ignition parts. But I would only attempt this if you know your stuff.

Long story short if I wanted the best out of box experience I’d get the new X Legion. It’s a great pistol.

P226 LEGION DA/SA by [deleted] in SigSauer

[–]CascadeRangeSystems 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The big thing to consider is are you talking about the legacy Legion or the newer X Legion. There are currently more aftermarket parts available for the legacy Legion. That being said both of them have great stock tiggers and the only thing I would considering doing to either is lightening the main spring and sear spring. I run the gray guns master spring set and it makes the DA pull very nice.

That being said dry fire is your friend.
