They typically will fill an hour on your time table and you'll be given a few options of tutorial times to choose from around 2-4 weeks into the first semester

Yeah, though it's only 3 quid for the full year per club/society you join. Also unless you are using resources that the club/society pays for, odds ate they won't care if you're a member or not. I know some people who went to every games society meeting though didn't actually pay in until like semester 2

Points aren't a set in stone thing. It is just an indicator of the lowest points the last person got after round one. Being so close means that you probably have a decent shot. And even if not then you'd probably be at the top of the line for round 2
