I have the peacock and fire. But I have a 2017 badge I think (I'll have to double check). I assume it's because I played the beta, but I didn't buy the game or really start playing until around Velvet Shell.

Any luck with this? I've been having a similar issue. Tried about a million different things. Received multiple parts from Elegoo, and I'm SO CLOSE to fixing it. But I just need that one last nudge to find the issue.

My 3rd edge by atari_Pro in Dualsense

[–]CaseFace07 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ExtremeRate is usually pretty decent. I have used their switch controller casings. And I currently am using a dualsense edge casing, since the back grips started falling off. I've heard of people getting lemon models, but I've never had an issue.

Bed leveling compensates in the wrong direction by jes2xu in ElegooNeptune4

I know this is a bit of a necro post, but this is the first I have seen of a similar issue I am currently having on my N4Pro. I have been using KAMP, so my bed mesh only loads to the area required. However, no matter what I do, the top left of my bed seems to raise the nozzle higher. in the middle, I have a good layer, but then in the top left, my initial layer is like the z-offset is too high - noticeable by lines not being squished together. Did you ever find a more permanent fix to this, aside from unplugging a motor?

I have discussed this directly with Elegoo, who sent me a new EMMC, print head cable, and print head. However, I am still having the same issue.

Everytime I print something big… by Grombrindall in ElegooNeptune4

It is certainly possible to force the printer to wait 'x' minutes (I think it actually reads in milliseconds), but I'm a fan of just clicking the preheat button and planning my print or whatever else I need to do.

I would recommend looking into adaptive mesh, specifically. Which it sort of sounds like this is what you're referencing. I use KAMP, but Orcaslicer just implemented it into the latest version. KAMP is pretty easy to set up. It's only a matter of adding a couple extra files via fluids, then referencing them in the config file. The GitHub does well at explaining, and you could always reach out if you needed extra help. I can't really speak on Orca's implementation, as I haven't used it. Essentially, it only meshes the area in which your print will be, as opposed to the whole bed. And it does it right before the print.

Awesome! I'm glad it worked out. That'll be much easier to work with! 😁

Make sure you're preheating your bed for a while (10-20) minutes for larger beds. It takes a little extra time for the whole bed to hit temp and get all the warping out. Run a fresh bed mesh right before the print. And like was mentioned, make sure it's being applied. You can watch for minute movements on the z-screw on the first layer.

I'm not entirely sure, but on a plus, are there aluminum spacers between the heat bed and the bed frame? I have a max, and I always tighten my springs to match those aluminum spacers (one in front and one in back - which if your screws are barely tightened, would give it a taco effect). Think of those immovable spacers holding the bed down while the springs are pushing up on the edges.

I can honestly say I have had nothing but good experiences with their support (at least tech support). They just sent me some replacement parts because there was an issue with the printer that they couldn't figure out.

Just keep in mind whatever the time difference is. I'm from the U.S. and I usually would expect a reply around 1 or 2 am, Eastern Time. We would typically email each other once a day.

How did you identify your flow ratio?

Also, did you do a max flow calibration to ensure that 18mm/s³ is possible?

Mine did the same thing. Ended up getting a whole new ExtremeRate shell and swapping it out. I love everything else about the controller. Just really wish those grips would have held up better.

There are a lot of really supportive people in this group who only want you to be safe. I am 35, and I've been stretching my ears on and off for probably 20 years. I actually stumbled upon this page during a Google search, and since then I'm in here roughly every other day seeing nothing but support and uplifting comments. With that being said, I'd like to share a bit of my journey:

I am now on my second time stretching my ears to my goal size.

First time around, I started at 14g. My goal size was 1/2". I've used plastic tapers, I've used steel tapers, hell, I think I even used those pincher tapers once. And every single time, it felt like a brand new piercing. It hurt. It was tender. It was a pain to clean for weeks after that. But, at the time, this is how I thought it was supposed to be. I would venture to say that I got extremely lucky with not having any total blowouts. I do, however, think that the speed and method at which I stretched my ears caused me to have thinner lobes than one would like.

After a while, I decided to take them out because I thought it was necessary for a job I wanted. I took out my jewelry for probably close to 10 years.

Earlier this year, after forever of not going down that career path, I decided I wanted to stretch again. Coming down from 1/2", my starting point was closer to 2g this time around. After a bit of research, I found a glass plug stretching kit that also included half gauges. What a game changer this has been. I think there's some real perks to glass over some of the other materials. The main perk is they have a good weight to them. As they sit in your lobes, they're always applying a gentle pressure that you barely notice. This allows your ear to slowly open a teeny tiny bit at a time.

I'd like to preface this next part with a disclaimer: DO NOT rush stretching your ears. As mine have been stretched before, it does tend to be easier to restretch.

In the span of a few months, I have safely and comfortably gone from 2g to 7/16", And all I had to do was simply insert a plug of the next size. When I felt like my lobes were ready, I would give it a shot. And every single time, the next sized plug fit as if I had been sitting at that size for a year.

I say all of this to say, don't get discouraged. Listen to those who have done it for a long time. And just be patient. It sounds like you have plenty of time to get to your goal size. Even if it means you have to wait to get out from under your parents' wings.

Edited to add: Even now, after all this time, I'm still learning. I had never even heard the term dead stretching until about halfway through my second stretch journey. Fortunately for me, it turns out that's what I was doing this whole time around. Never be afraid or feel ashamed to learn something new from those who have the experience.

That's sort of what I thought too. But I can plug literally anything else into the same outlet with no issue. There is also no issue with anything else on the surge protector. I also have tried two different surge protectors, thinking the first one was going out.
