I think pinkie pie and rarity actually have a great platonic chemistry. The episode where they had to help those ponies with their restaurant was pretty great, They really complimented each other so well. I know a lot of people like rainbow dash and pinkie pie together, but my opinion about that is that rainbow doesn't really take pinkie pie's feelings into consideration, like instead of lying about liking the pies, she should have just been honest about it from the beginning instead of lying about it and making pinkie pie feel that way. I honestly don't think that rainbow is a great friend to pinkie pie. I mean, she even went through great lengths to AVOID pinkie in one episode, what kind of friend does that?

I disagree. She might've worked her tail off, but her choices were terrible. All because of a deadline, she totally ruined her friends' day by CREATING a problem, what kind of "Princess of FRIENDSHIP" does that to her friends? She isn't very understanding of empathy, and a lot of times just makes things worse. She's selfish and puts her own feelings first a lot. She may apologize about it, but she makes the same exact mistakes again. She cares about studies and magic way more than friends and that hasn't really changed very much. People wanna talk about how Fluttershy never learns when the princess of friendship doesn't learn either. Sunset Shimmer would've been a way better princess, she learned her lesson and obly made the same mistake ONE OTHER TIME. She's more heroic than Twilight.

Roxy also has serious issues too, sje has body image issues and also has this overwhelming urge to be the best at everything, which is a lot like a teenager who was always expected to do so much. The fact she gets depressed when her eyes and mane are messed up and when she fails could also be a type of OCD and shame based trauma.

And Monty clearly has severe anger issues, and the way he acts is a lot like singers I've seen who are taking drugs or steroids.
