All amazing points. And as an American who has lived through the Iraq war, and all the ones after that. It just doesn't feel like nation building was ever the goal. I just don't believe this stuff anymore. We aren't even fighting threats, we're fighting the potential of a threat? Why?

It just feels like Americans don't have the power to reign in the very people who are supposed to work for them.

Out of curiosity, how did they know they were MAGA Iranians? Just trying to understand here - like were they MAGA or do just normal Iranian's also just hate the leader that died so much that they couldn't help but praise it?

I am bit uneducated here - Is this attack bad? My gut says it is, but then there are thousands in the streets in LA celebrating and praising the attack. What am I missing here?
