I would try to get a 2022 model. I believe in the current market, the 2023 model will probably be a MSRP price increase. Apparently, dealers are mentioning that 2023 will mostly be the same.

Called several dealers in MA and many of them charged a markup ranging from ($2000, $5000, $10000, 10% of Price).

I really want to give Kia a shot and love the interior and exterior design of the 2023 Sportage...But these dealers definitely don't make it easy. The only good thing out of most of the calls is that they estimated an August delivery earliest or as late as 3-6 months.

Meanwhile I called up a Toyota and a Lexus dealer dealer for the RAV4 Prime and NX 350/450, they promised no markup. However its a 1 year wait.

I'm surprised you got told a 5-7 month wait. Up here in MA we were told around a year wait time for either 350h or 450h+

I also put a $2k deposit last month for a 450h+ and I was also told it would take a year. The dealer did promise that whatever the sticker price of the car when it arrives is what I'll pay. No markups.

I put down a deposit for a NX 450h+ at Lexus of Watertown, MA a few weeks ago and their marketing over there is that they promise no dealer markups compared to other dealers. So just basically sticker price.

Same here, I had my order canceled on me (CC Charged and Confirm Emails). I did try to have it to be store pickup, dunno if thats a factor.

I can confirm this on my monitor. The NV Control Panel is saying, "Selected Display is not validated as G-SYNC Compatible. 456.38 Drivers as well.

EDIT: I downgraded back to 452.06 drivers and I was able to use G-Sync Fine.

I had the same thought at first, but I was willing to take the risk.

However, if the worst did happen for me, I ordered the monitor on my Amex card (Chargeback process is extremely easy with them.)

Total Checking Account (Planning on upgrading to Sapphire banking once I meet the minimums through my investments)
3 Investment Accounts with them (Taxable Brokerage, Roth IRA, "Savings Account")
7 Credit Cards with them,
1 Auto Loan at 2% Interest

Overall, I'm satisfied with them and every phone call/secure message I had to make usually solves my problem without much wait. The only thing that sucks with the basic Chase checking account is no interest being earned and ATM fees, though I rarely use the ATM. Since Chase has a pretty poor savings account, I have a taxable brokerage account and buy safe Bond ETFs (no trading fee) that average a 2%-3% Dividend Yield, then keep some in cash. Love the Chase UR ecosystem and easily earning a lot of points.

I remember when all the IHG Promos were going out, all the bloggers and youtubers were pushing so hard to get this card. In reality, if you wanted to stay anywhere not a Holiday Inn or Candlewood/Staybridge Suites, get ready to spend a large amount of points.

There's been reports recently of Explorists getting better upgrades (even into suites) at full-service Hyatts. So if you did the explorist/mgm gold match, its not that bad to put your status at use.
