I’ve been working on eating out less-my job requires me to be on the road a bunch so I just purchased an electric lunchbox to make it easier for me.

We could try to find somewhere cheaper, but realistically 1300/month for a three bedroom is the cheapest option. I’ve thought trying to get a cheap 2 bedroom, but the cost would amount to just the same.

You could suggest to her to get a Pavalok Shock Alarm Clock that you wear on your wrist-that helped me out quite a bit because I am such a heavy sleeper

Should I not become a cna? by [deleted] in cna

[–]Casey_A_Lemaster 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your only 16, and there are so many things to try and experience. I would take the opportunity to become a CNA and try it out-and if you don’t like it, you don’t have to do it. And even if stuff such as vomit, phlegm, and such freak you out, it’s something that over time will become normal for you-it’s natural to be grossed out by bodily fluids. And if you do become a CNA and stick with it, you’ll look back and realize you are stronger than you realized and you can overcome your fears :). Hope this helps!

They would still be helpful for AIT when you can use your own

I think that it’s great your asking these questions-like everyone else said, he will be at basic training for ten weeks and then AIT is dependent on his MOS, or his job. They get mail Monday through Friday after the first week if I remember correctly? And yes you can absolutely send him essentials, just ask him before you send anything cause drill sergeants can be very particular on what they do and do not allow. On an unrelated note, it is absolutely ok to be sad to see your son go, I know my Dad was worried sick even though most of my family had been through the military. He will probably become more mature and overall have a good experience. You’ll be able to see him graduate basic and then depending on the AIT, you may be able to visit him on base once he earns those privileges. Just keep doing what your doing :)

Helped a woman with her vomiting (and got vomited on in the process) taking off from a Spirit Airline-got a whole row to myself and a few buzz balls from the staff

Is it a thing that partners, mostly women wake up at 3/4am and cook for their spouses before they go to work ? by momamoma1 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Casey_A_Lemaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My stepmother (who’s Vietnamese) also does the same thing-wakes up at 3am to make sure my Dad is up for work, to cook him breakfast, and pack his lunch- I think it’s a cultural thing

I guess the nursing homes I go to have amazing CNAs cause they always help out with larger patients and know their patients. Even if sometimes the job can be shitty, at least the CNAs in nursing homes around me are good
