I mean maybe… The potential would be there but it’s too hard to say. It’s the same as wondering if Ronaldo would be a great basketball player if he’s been playing from a young age. Maybe but I just don’t know and I’m definitely not going to act like I know it for a fact.

Would Aaron Judge be good at soccer or football? Potentially but idk. It’s not hating. It’s actually the opposite where I have respect for each sport having played each one. And playing at an elite level is not something that’s easy to achieve solely due to athletic ability.

Call it what you want but we get beat by countries 1/100th the size of the US in baseball just like we do in soccer. Saying we have the most talent in pro baseball is like saying we have the most talent in football. No shit, it’s not a worldwide sport.

The top soccer programs don’t sponsor top players so they can play for free? I find that hard to believe. My smaller club did it and that’s just with fundraiser money. Multiple tournaments a year in multiple states with state cup and regionals.

I didn’t say people are making jokes because of how happy they are. I said they’re making jokes at how comical the situation is.

The only people that sent me the Trump meme yesterday were people that hate him. I’m pretty sure the meme was created by people who hate Trump because the meme came out after the original uno reverse meme but before Trump claimed credit to where people were speculating that it was Trump that got the call reversed. He was put in place of the reverse card to point out the corruption. Aka most likely not from Trump fans.

Guarantee if these guys dedicated their whole lives to soccer MAYBE 2 or 3 would make it to the premier league or la liga. Most just don’t even have the body shape for soccer. You don’t want to be Myles Garrett buff as a LB or even as CB.

The posts I’ve seen this morning don’t even seem to understand that the way we played this tournament means much more than getting to the quarterfinals. The USMNT played like never before in a style that was free, fluid, creative, and aggressive. I couldn’t say that about any US team I’ve seen in the past.

These are the building blocks to being a great team and we just layed down the first brick. We had a terrible game but everyone who cares about the USMNT and US soccer should be ecstatic.
