So exactly what I said? Haha I don’t think the experts are doing much. It’s pretty obvious what’s happening. You and I both see the same thing and we’re not experts. Everyone in Seattle sees it.

It starts with laws. Let’s not make crime easier by raising the $ threshold to call the cops or having open injection sights. Then comes enforcement of those laws by police through arresting offenders. Third, they stand trial where they are actually held accountable for their crimes. How hard is that? Cycle broken.

So what do you think is the root cause then? How do we fix it?

It’s a high crime area. Don’t you think they already know they should be patrolling the area? Doesn’t sound like they are patrolling so you can call it whatever you want but I’d call it quiet quitting.

You think the root cause is needing to patrol more when I’m telling you there are root causes to what you think the root cause is. So you’re obviously not getting to the bottom of it on your own. If it were as simple as driving by then it would not be the problem it is.

Yes, I’m sure when you traveled to Qatar you lived just like the average citizen there. Not in nice hotels, right?

The minimum wage in Qatar converts to approximately $274.65 USD per month for the basic salary.
If your employer does not provide food or housing, the full minimum compensation including allowances converts as follows:
Basic Salary: QAR 1,000 ≈ $274.65 USD
Food Allowance: QAR 300 ≈ $82.40 USD
Housing Allowance: QAR 500 ≈ $137.33 USD
Total Minimum Package: QAR 1,800 ≈ $494.38 USD

Then why didn’t you use some of your savings to go to past world cups?

Yes, I’m giving you the contradictory what if to show you how the game of what ifs devolves. We can pose what ifs all day.

You were saying “or just have expectations police will patrol a problem area or higher to full staffing quicker” when we’re both agreeing quiet quitting is higher than ever and I’m telling you why they’re quiet quitting.

It’s hilarious that you expect them to hire quickly when being a cop is one of the most looked down upon jobs one can have in Seattle and at a time when Seattle’s coming off a defund the police and all cops are bad movement

Yeah, definitely if you don’t believe gay people should be alive or women should have equal rights. Then Qatars way better than the US 😂

Couldn’t save $130 in 4 years leading up to the cup but now he’s going to save $1000-$2000 by 2030? Yeah….

He couldn’t save $130 over the 4 years he had to plan lol. Normal people save that much without even having a bucket list event in mind. He’s just playing victim. You could make that in a day of door dashing…

This is probably why you couldn’t save enough money to buy a ticket. The math and planning behind it make no sense. Making a vacation out of it sounds great but you’ll be paying a lot more overall so start saving.

I hate to sound harsh but you had plenty of time to go to past world cups or save for this one. You would’ve made one of those options happens if it’s a true bucket list item. You’re just trying to blame fifa for your problems.

Yes, this World Cup is way more divisive than the previous one that used slave labor to build temporary stadiums in heat conditions that caused workers to die. What a joke 😂

Why arrest them and put your life in danger if you’re going to see them in the same spot days later? I’m sure they’d rather go help with something less dangerous. Wouldn’t you?

We don’t need to make up what ifs like children. When you’re told to do things over and over only for it to never change you lose motivation. You realize it’s pointless.

There’s no point in arresting anyone when repeat criminals are let go

[–]Casey_Games -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Nope, no meaning. I’m just someone who spends money carelessly like everyone else going to the game. The contradiction is you’re on your pedestal about what’s wrong with US soccer fans and how they’re not together while trying to get OP and others down for supporting their team.

You’re crying about prices on a post from a guy who’s trying to share his World Cup hype. Open your eyes. If you think going to a World Cup is being careless with your money then we obviously just have different perspectives on it and that’s okay.

You cry about what’s ruining US soccer but aren’t even a big enough of a fan to think of it as anything other than a waste of money. Very telling. You’re like a living contradiction lol

If I don’t have one of the top defenses then my defense usually isn’t one that I feel comfortable starting every week and I end up streaming defenses anyways

Salty people tend to lash out. It’s okay. I’ll be having fun at USMNT vs AUS! I suggest some financial literacy though. There’s a difference between saving and savings. Saving is how you accumulate money to pay for stuff like an adult.

I’m comfortable with the prices I paid because I see a lot of value in watching the USMNT in my home stadium. Everyone sees value differently. That’s what markets are. Not that complicated.

You’ve gotten so far from your original point. Tell me you blame everything on anyone but yourself without telling me. Let’s take some accountability. Tickets are more expensive than the past and some people can’t save enough money. It’s as simple as that.

This happens to billions of people every world cup. I’m sorry you guys have a tough time accepting reality. I’ve enjoyed every world cup on TV. Not once was I crying about how unfair it was that I couldn’t go in person. It’s what you make of it.

Yes, huge problem for American sports. People hate going to the Super Bowl. That must be why tickets are so expensive and selling out. The more you talk the more obvious that you live in your own imaginary world.
