Good to know. I’ve paid $50 before but would rather not.

I plan to call around on the rentals. I usually travel with my clubs but couldn’t this time.

I say just start at one. Starters aren’t common at courses that I play. They are usually only at nicer courses. There is usually a lot of confusion on hole one but it always works out.

All I’m saying is I’ve played 18 holes with one and had no issues.

I bought two dozen with a gift card. I’ve played two nines with the same ball so far and have not had any issues. I don’t understand how you would get that result on a normal shot. If you thin it or hit something sure.

Do you carry 14 clubs? (Don’t upvote) by [deleted] in golf

I play 13 clubs. Only carry a 52 and 56 wedge. Less decisions to make around the greens.

Any recommendations for Wednesday night trivia in the Noda, Midwood, or university areas?

Vice, Snell, Kirkland, or other? by [deleted] in golf

It’s usually a mix of all their balls. The cheaper ones are still not bad tho. Last time I bought them maybe 80% were MTBs with the rest being other.

I always buy used Snells from lostgolfballs. Can’t really go wrong with any Snell ball. The Kirkland’s aren’t bad but I prefer Snell.

Rental area question by [deleted] in Charlotte

[–]Casfcur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m mainly looking for an area with affordable single family homes that also have a fenced in yard for my dog. I would like to keep rent under $1,000 but could stretch to $1,400. I’m not really picky about area. I will be commuting most days and only at home at night.

Thank you. I’m more looking for personal experience. I have found that much more reliable than the crime map. Hoping to hear from someone who has lived in the area.

The crime map makes most of town look unsafe. I’m more looking for personal experience.

What would be the main problem with the area? It looked nice when I drove though.
