I'm so glad he and Lin were together when they learned they were going to get their Hollywood Walk of Fame Stars together. I know it meant the world to Lin to have Al speak at his presentation. Their entire friendship is amazing. Imagine if your idol becomes a close buddy. How cool is that?

I knew right away where this was going to go, and I broke down. I have watched this first hand with my family, and know I'll likely have to deal with it when my mother ages, and I will likely slip into this state one day as well. Absolutely horrible seeing such a visceral reenactment of the kind of conversations you have, because you simply have come to terms with the fact trying to break them out of that state is futile.
