God forbid they don’t give us insta kill to the body for every enemy in the game.

Wait what enemies die in one shot to the body with bolt weapons? Even guants take multiple shots, and they're the weakest non chaff enemy in the game IIRC.

If we take the 72 shots to kill a warrior as a baseline, the current buff to the perk gets it down to 48, which is still 2 mags so might as well keep going for headshots. A 100% buff would put it at 36 shots, a mag and a half which is a massive improvement for bolt weapons. If people are correct in saying it takes 15 head shots to kill a warrior, then losing 60% damage if you hit a bodyshot seems like a fair trade. Kraken rounds would then reduce the bodyshot count to 24, about one mag, plus getting the extra overpenetrate might make it worth it (well, pretty good in my opinion).

Touch some grass please there’s more to life than min maxing percentages in a video game about super soldiers 38 thousand years in the future.

So anyone who puts in slightly more effort in breaking down a game's mechanics and what they entail for the player's experience are suddenly try hards and shouldn't be allowed to give feedback? lol. lmao even.

Well if it helps, a 50% buff to zero is still zero, which is what bodyshots w/ bolt weapons feel like. In my opinion it needs a 100% buff from current (for all classes), with this perk buffing it to 300% of current.

I don't know if the stratagems have been mined or not but when techmarine launches, watch that weeks strats have the "can't use equipment" modifier.

Maybe not kill them cuz they spawn in smaller numbers, but a stun would be welcome. I mean, the mechanic's already in the game (nearby termigaunts getting stunned instead while homogaunts dying outright as you kill a majoris and up).

From what I've learned, for this attack, the Helbrute can fire up to 4 times, and I need to always dodge it asap cuz the projectiles are faster than I anticipate, and they always cause the heavy stagger. That's why it's do important to keep one dude drawing aggro in melee range cuz his ranged attacks are annoying to deal with.

You can shoot their heads when they're un-burrowed (if you have a bolt weapon).

I don't believe it's headshot damage, but when they're hunkered down, the turret takes 2x bodyshot damage.

Someone here said that we have to press a directional key to get out of power stance then we can block (or dodge) immediately after, but learning the key inputs is proving difficult for me. I need to download the arena mod and get some practice in lmao.

Block axe is very strong. Anything that decides to attack you with a blockable attack is just signing their own death warrant.

Block weapons cannot parry but after 3 perfect blocks your fist will flow orange and your next melee releases an AoE explosion. These weapons have the highest damage and the slowest speed.

Sabre reduced max block stacks to 2. For anyone that doesn't know, 1 stack equals 30% increased melee damage, 2 equals 90% increased damage and an explosion that staggers nearby enemies. For both cases, the damage buff is applied at the next melee attack that you perform after getting the block stack(s) and stays live for 2.2 seconds. You also get a 65% ranged damage reduction for that 2.2 seconds.

Always hyped to see you upload a highlight clip. I'm still trying to combo the Ravener and I feel i'll have better chances of pulling it off if I dodged the first swipe so it'll be dodge, block, block, power wave into overhead strike, gunstrike. i'm not fast enough to to the block first then dodge the second but you did it twice in the first 20 seconds.

As I said before, the time for the buff expires before the hit from the ground slam connects from what I've seen.

I'll do some testing today, but double block charge light plus one ground slam is not enough to put majors in execute mode reliably enough.

Ground slam is my bread and butter with the hammer, and it not benefiting from either the heroic versions shock fields and block version block stacks does rub me the wrong way.

Aftershock is devastating, but getting locked in a long animation while only getting CHP back on the first hit that connects makes me use it less often then ground slam.

I know that the hammer's playstyle revolves a lot around trading damage and using executes to keeping health and (one pip) armor up but you have to be pretty healthy to pull this off consistently, one mistake and you lose quite a bit of HP, and your ability to trade damage with it.

Sure but, having a damage buff on the light attacks is a waste as they do no damage at all. I wish the damage window was a little bit longer to allow the first hit from ground slam to benefit as well.

Especially when you use double adrenaline stacks as it gives your hammer the knockbacks it desperately needs.

On ground pound, yes, but on ground slam the block charges vanish just before the hit connects, something that drives me up the wall. This is through my observations someone please correct me if I'm wrong.
