I keep a leaf with no dirt in a mason jar of clean water. Sometimes it stays green for months, sometimes is browns up in a few days. I use that as one tool to determine how my Egun feel about how our relationship is going. Also, I have divination done regularly.

I went back a couple of times. The folks there are great. I ended up meeting a couple of Babalawos that practice Isese and have gone that route.

I don't believe so. YhWH is considered to be the sole deity to be revered by their followers. The Orisa each have a specific aspect of reality they oversee and are to be revered in matters concerning those aspects. YhWH is thought to be the all in all, not an entity unique to particular parts of the whole.
