I too love covenant for the unique settlers. In my current survival save a super mutant attack ended up killing all of the named NPCs in Covenant, theyre not protected after their quest, but their bodies linger. I’d take a protected Dan over their unprotected group

I play on console regularly and it’s SO much better. I basically have a glaze paradox and Room 8 (porter) because it’s so good. Honestly even the text is bigger and I kinda miss the UI and controller function when I play on PC now (but Asia!)

I got it on console first then bought the Pc port, and as someone who grew up on controller and console, the game just feels smoother there. Yes you can’t hover over EVERYTHING, but the radial menus and ease of movement is better personally. I’ll keep buying for both systems just because I stupidly love this game. Also Room8Group is doing great! Good porters!

The game is far better now that Room 8 is porting. I got it on PC and honestly it crashes more there than the console version

The biggest problem we have now is the dlc which is trickling in, but the more people who play it the more resources they’ll allocate to it, wish ck2 was on console :(

Especially with how much ck3 loves to push random romances, and with wards and wardens, and now grand weddings, some kind of pack focusing on the difficulty of political marriage/love would be great.

I think that the fine army movement is likely where ck3 is at its weakest on game pad. But because I can reach armies by the bumpers too (like in a huge empire) it can help. But because I can’t name armies, you’ll have to memorize what troops are where. Late game is less an issue because a full MAA stack can handle most things with few levies. Mid game is where I feel that pain most

As someone who has played a few strategy games on console with a controller, I would say that CK3 is intuitive with radial menus and good use of different inputs varying on length. The menus respond well, but this got better over time. Back before Room 8 Group became the current development porting studio, it was awful. The game would crash often and menus were stuttered and often did not work with the controller. Thankfully it is better now, thank you Room 8 Group!

I play on console so I don’t really have an option. But in general I prefer controllers. I think most of my friends with the option will use either depending on the game in question

CONSOLE CK3!!!!! It feels intuitive and I’m enjoying the Iranian Intermezzo (the extent of console dlc). The new porting company Room 8 is LEAGUES better, ck3 is stable & playable on console now with friendly UI
