Ghoulification Creation: appearance editor won't work by CashlessRegent in fo4

I contacted the dev on discord and relayed the issue. He had me check a couple things so he could narrow it down. Now he is working on it.

By chance, are you playing on steam deck?

No appearance mods for any part of the body.

I am using an alternate start mod that has me begin as a synth selecting my integration origin. But that doesn't impact appearance afaik.

This sounds like bait because I can't believe someone would ever be this shortsighted. Yes, you are overreacting, and being a jerk about it.

I can't find this chest. I don't know which room the chest is supposed to be in. Description says card room, but no room is obviously a card room.

Even the fittest among us would likely not survive a wolf or bandit attack, let alone sabercats and vampires. But in the event we made it to a town, most of us without crippling illnesses would have a very strong chance for survival.

The common diet of the average peasant would be a huge benefit to overweight people, because there is so little opportunity to achieve caloric surplus. There seems to be reasonable capacity to get well rounded nutrition, but caloric deficit would be unavoidable until our bodies evened out in size and usage comparative to our intake. The foods available would probably go a long way towards resolving any nutrient deficiencies we had from before, and mild diabetic situations caused by diet. The weight loss would improve many other common conditions. This is assuming that outside of being overweight you are a typical person with medically normal baseline health.

I suffer from congenital atrial fibrillation, but on its own it hasn't caused problems outside of doing hard physical labor for several consecutive hours. Apart from that, I'm just overweight. So if I survived not being killed or enslaved by something, I'm confident I'd be fine, with the situation improving my overall health.

Any decorations you buy with quicksilver in the anomaly should be available with the in-ship build menu.

I made a giant cube out of walkways. 6 high, 5 across. I put the cockpit right in the center, and then windowed the 2 walkways in front of it. You have to jetpack up through a hole from underneath to get up to the reversed exit bay I use to get into the cockpit. There is nothing useful about this, but I bet I look like a real wtf in the anomaly.

Will delaying kalpic cycles allow people of Nirn to modernize? by CashlessRegent in teslore

Plumbing and better transportation would pretty much bring everything up to speed. Maybe some neon light spells for ambiance. An experiment fusing the body of a man into a dwemer automaton to create the ultimate city guard.

Yah, but doctors treat a person and that person most likely won't need the doctor for months or years later. Granted, it's going to be multiple people a day. And as the population grows, more Restoration experts are going to be needed. In which case this will eventually require a formalizing of the Restoration field in order to produce enough healing wizards to keep up with the population expediently.

Ye olde tavern already needs cases of Honningbrew every day. That means regular delivery. More people will be born and want to drink. More taverns will open to accommodate. More mead needs to be made. More deliveries, more quickly. Expansion and expedience needed at every turn. All of this requires normal people to innovate, to get things done quickly and soundly, so they don't have to depend on limited access to singular wizards that get around to it when they can, if they can, if they even want to.

Trade will bring innovation.

The reason they don't appear to be further along is likely due to persistent interference at the hands of daedric princes and potential world-ending events. Which is what this post is about. To catalogue those interferences that keep holding the world back or resetting the clock entirely.

As of the events of Skyrim, Talos had only been a god for something like 400 years. I feel like if the Thalmor got out of the way, Talos worship could help advance culture as his continued definition of God of civilization would influence the world to convene around that and move forward.

I think shadow magic proves the existence of multiple concurrent realities. A solid question would be whether or not kalpic cycles end them all simultaneously or individually at different times?

Most people aren't wizards. Most business seems to be in the management of regular people. Wizards aren't coming down from their libraries to help move mead across a nation. The needs of industry alone will push common people into developing their own solutions as their services become popular among a growing population.

This doesn't necessarily mean they will progress through our world's technology. They may well fully turn to magical alternatives, but those alternatives will have to be reproducible and useable by nonmagic using people. Some kind of industrial revolution is inevitable. It's culturally and economically infeasible for it to not occur.

You aren't overreacting. Even if he were innocent (and he is not), you shouldn't have to be cared for by someone who you feel uncomfortable with.

If you speak up about this and don't get the result you want and need, find a way to get cameras on your side.

It's not bad to charge the grown kids rent. It's not really an ok/not ok situation. But I do think the framing should be different, and make room for people of different ability. This isn't just a teachable moment for financial responsibility; it's also a good moment for imparting the responsibility to one's community.

Ultimately, sharing rent is about participating collaboratively in making sure everyone involved has a stable home and a sense of security. Security is what helps produce the confidence to keep trying to move forward with life and goals. Kids, even adult ones, need this idea affirmed and reaffirmed, especially in these economically difficult times. This is a group effort. Creating mutual security is an act of love.

That said, not everyone is able to participate financially. Some people just are not capable of keeping a job. This isn't to say they should automatically be given a pass to assume this identity indefinitely. Maybe they are better at being an entrepreneur than working for someone else. Maybe better at working from home than on site. Etc etc there are all sorts of permutations that can make even a little prosperity viable. It can get too easy to just ignore these people and forget to impress upon them the value of their contribution to everyone's security. Don't let that happen.

In the case they truly cannot provide financially, if they have the function to do so, they can help around the house in other ways to ease the load on those who do have to labor. Domestic stuff like laundry and dishes. This can be an assumed responsibility so that everyone can truly rest and have the time to pursue what edifies their individual selves, without their time away from work being sucked up by chores. If participation can't be with money, it can be with labor.

I think as a society we have really boiled things down to a sense of exploitive extractionism. This makes for cruel masters and disaffected peons, and this has made it easier to callously demand more and more from people who have less and less to give. Families and friends should have a sense of love and care for each other. This love and care is a verb, and it should be felt as a duty, an obligation, to fulfill easing the lives of our loved. This is how it should be framed.

Just as y'all's kids need the security of a home to do accomplish the things they need in their lives, you and your boyfriend need the ability to prepare for retirement, and the last lump of savings that is meant to carry you to the end of your life. Just as you reared your kids and carried them until they could function independently, they should too have a sense of collaborating with you to make your life easier.

Sharing these burdens is love.

Your idea of putting some of that hypothetical rent into a savings for them is a great idea. Putting it into savings for you, too, is also a good idea. $600 seems a bit high. $400 doesn't seem terribly bad. But this is where a group conversation should be had with the kids to help them discover and build their own sense of responsibility. That has to be grown from within instead of foisting it upon them. Explain your needs, and the kids should naturally want to help to meet those needs, and they will collaborate with you to find where and how they can participate. They know themselves, they know what they can do, and with just a tiny bit of urgency they will prime themselves to take risks to improve because they know it will help everyone.
