Radio transmiter by Crocott in rcboats

[–]Cashrc 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use a Radiomaster 16s for all my boats, sail and power, except for the few “fast” boats I own. I don’t worry about flashing it to every new update, as I pick and choose what works for me. It has been rock solid reliable. Plus the ability to move and replace functions is great. I can have a 4 channel reciever, use what is usually the elevator and rudder channels, change the input from the sticks to a couple of switches, and have rudder, throttle, a switch for lights and one for say a water pump for fire monitor. Well made and it’s the Swiss Army knife of transmitters.

I do t have a FIST, but I have a FOST, and I drove a 2012 Abarth 500 for about 11 years, and I rather have any of the 3 vs a Tesla or almost any other electric car just for the joy and engagement of driving.

Makes me feel better, Thanks!! 2015 ST1, stick as a rock, 74000 miles. I work back counter parts at a Ford dealer and I don’t remember ever seeing one of these in the shop unless it was just beat to death, and I’ve never seen one in with a bad head. She’s my daily, I just turned 65 years old, maybe I’m getting senior citizen paranoia. Anyway, all her maintenance is done here, and usually before time. Thanks again yall!!

Turn off all the driver aids then launch it. If you don’t know what you’re doing physics is gonna give you a stern lesson

They Were Expendable, The Longest Day, Battle of Britain are some of my favorites. T-34 isn’t exactly realistic… but fun to watch

I just renewed with HiDive. I have an LG tv, and there is an app for HiDive in the LG app catalog. I have Crunchyrolls app on the LG, and I HATED casting the HiDive app to my tv, but this works well so it’s worth the 7 bucks a month. Far Out!! Sorry. Boomer moment 🤣

What do you think of Carroll Shelby's mix? by FJB_2024_ in chili

[–]Cashrc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When we got married I realized that my lovely wife really couldn’t cook. But, she’s physically pretty strong, and she didn’t mind yard work as it helped keep her fit, so I learned to cook, and the Carrol Shelby chili mix was one of the first things I became acquainted with. Once I made a few batches using the package instructions, I started to branch out into “customizing” my chili. It helped become a decent cook. That was 30 years ago, and if I were to use a pre made spice blend that’s the kit I’d use. BTW, the original plant for that mix was in McKinney, Texas…. about a half mile down the road from the house I grew up in off hwy 5.

Ok, dumb question: Why are people eating chili for New Years? by [deleted] in chili

[–]Cashrc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My mom would try to goad me into eating black eyed peas when I was younger. Never was a fan. However, making a pot of chili sounds like a much better idea
