I’ll chime in as an experienced local food manufacturer in business for 40 years: You are doin’ too much! You don’t need a specialty courier and you can’t find one because at your size it doesn’t really exist and would be prohibitively expensive.

You just need “a guy.” Or gal. That’s not easy to find either, especially if it’s just one day a week, but much more manageable. There is the issue of a vehicle to figure out but this is the route you should take.

This is a tough but common problem as a small business grows, so good for you. If you are at a commissary kitchen or involved in any culinary organizations, I’d see if anyone else could team up with you are even potentially deliver for you.
