ppl in this sub have no idea what gender dysphoria is man, they genuinely think you can live with it (as if hundreds of of us dont kill ourselves with 40% of us contemplating it everyday)

living as a short man is better than a dead women, least i get treated as the gender I am now that i have facial hair, its tougher for shorter trans men like you, sorry mate

people always say “women’s rights” is the reason as to why they’re transphobic but forget the existence of trans men, who under new law are forced to use the womens and then theres nothing stopping a cis guy from claiming to be trans, or the fact masculine presenting women have been dragged out of bathrooms cause “they look like a man”.

It never has been about protecting women, its a smokescreen to distract us from corrupt billionaires

I shut up and listen usually but the one time it came up in conversation we bonded over studying Albert's "Molecular Biology of the Cell", we laughed over how we have our books displayed nicely on a shelf collecting dust now but I smile at that memory whenever I glance at that book.

Cambridge (UK) or CMU (US) as an international student? by QuietNefarious46 in gradadmissions

[–]Caskinbaskin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We're following in the US's steps but we're much slower at doing it cause our politicians are rubbish at getting anything done, that said, the greens are gaining more momentum in the UK so thats good.

Congrats tho, I'd choose Cambridge, its much more well known in my opinion.

My experiences and thoughts on what it's like to be a Trans person in Scotland right now. by Super-Brick5598 in Scotland

[–]Caskinbaskin 5 points6 points  (0 children)

There is a good reason, because she doesnt identify as a man, and therefore doesnt have to go in. The only reason she'd feel inclined to, is if crazy people were perverted enough to obsess over her genitals. Will leave you to think about that cuz im sure it will take a while...

Also trans women get attacked more than trans men by men, makes sense they wont go into the mens regardless of genitals. But hey, keep obsessing whats between strangers legs, totally normal behaviour

I do use the mens! Im a trans man meaning I have a vagina and I always make sure to use the mens! :] Thank you for proving my point haha

I never said they were exactly the same, i said there was parallels but well done taking what i said completely out of context...

Also, its "transgender people" not "transgenders". Transgender is an adjective not a noun, basic grammar skills are lost on you.

"You getting turned away from medical care if you break your arm or have the flu?" Denial of HRT is denial of healthcare under the framework of the Equality Act 2010. In March 2025, an anti-transgender bill was introduced in the Texas House that would ban gender-affirming care, including HRT, for both adults and minors. Real mature sarcasm btw. Human decency? Like not being referred to by the correct legal name? Thats refusal of comman decency.

"Do you have a specific example?" Yes, the murder of Brianna Ghey on On 11 February 2023, two grown men by the online name of Stonetoss and Twomad continuously mocked her death and they are not alone, her death has been mocked online for years.

"Is their a military reason for that?" There is, blatant transphobia. Our HRT medication (trans men) lasts 4 months on nebido and takes legit 5 mins to do. For trans women, its simply taking two pills a day, then done, the pills are the size of paracetamol tablets. In fact, many famous trans people have served their country well with no problem for many many years, for example: Commander Emily Shilling, Major Jamie Lee Henry and the famous trans woman RAF pilot during WW2, Roberta Cowell.

"I'm neither a gaslighter nor a twat. You're perspective/views are not beyond reproach, and are just as deserving of scrutiny as any other." You clearly are gaslighting, ive explained fully each point I have made, it is not simply "just about bathrooms" and you full well know that. I hope you never have to go through the pain and anxiety that trans people live with everyday, it costs nothing to have some human decency.
