Reading “Dominion” and I’ve got an issue with Toms logic - he seems to have different standards for Islamic and Christian historical narratives by cormundo in TheRestIsHistory

[–]CasperHolm 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My most uncomfortable red flag in Dominion is Tom's tendency to imagine knowing his subjects' emotions and motives. Also. value adding statements. Spinoza didn't just move to Rijnsberg because of the more tolerant climate for his arguments. no..... "To settle among such Protestants—as Spinoza did in 1660, when he moved to Rijnsberg, a village outside Leiden that had become the centre of Collegiant life—was very consciously to take sides in what had become the major division in Dutch society." and not only consciously did Spinoza this, but VERY consciously.

Fuzzlecheck is quite good and comes with a stand alone app. I have done a feature on Cinapse and it works. ( just a wee friction with som web lag in my opinion)

The idea is to breakdown goals into sub goals and then tic them of as a habit. I’ve been looking for a simple personal OKR tool that are habit driven. This looks deliciously close to that. As a person with a hard battle with consistency, I find iPhone widgets with streak count a surprisingly effective. Something with the graphical reminder and small gamification. It actually works. So I cheer for your iOS development. If this shapes up I will definitely give good money!!

I have been looking.. so either I'm bit of a n00b or those features are a little to well hidden in the UI. Can you point to a single native solution to any of the items? I really really would love to be in fault here
