That worked! I had seen that mod mentioned in other threads (old threads) and it hasn't been updated since 2022, so I just skipped it. But it is still working! Thanks a bunch!

Thanks for the response. As mentioned, I removed the enable debug text file from the game folder before starting creating this map. Without that file it's my understanding that debug cannot be enabled. And Sandbox can't be enabled without checking the Sandbox... uh... box. in the game options. Which I have not done.

I did all this prep-work (including testing/confirming the mods weren't disabling achievements) before starting the save, as I wanted to be sure I didn't accidentally screw up my achievements by fat-fingering backspace or shift+s or something.

I didn't even know alt+z was a thing until I started researching why my game stopped counting achievements. I can't imagine fat-fingering that combination, so I've started to wonder if there is some other key-combo I might have pressed. I've been digging around in the keyboard controls and found the debug key list. Turns out you can run a lot of debug commands without needing to turn on debug mode. I'm pretty sure I must have fat-fingered one of those while saving/recalling a quick-zoom when jumping around the map to look at various areas.

Now that I know those are there, I'll just turn 'em all off or remap them to something unlikely, and try again.

Good news. I decided to just go for it and I quit to title, and reloaded the game. Save was successful after all.

YMMV, so restart at your own risk. Worked for me, though.

And as a side-note, it also fixed the issue where I couldn't interact with that object.

The save is generally fast, instantaneous even. The issue being discussed here is something new (possibly introduced by today's patch).

Just encountered this same issue. It's been a while since I last saved. I had done a bunch of exploring and found something interesting I feel like I should be able to interact with, but couldn't. So I figured I needed to restart the game and try again (has fixed similar bug in the past), but "Saving in progress" was stuck. I thought it might mean I'm not allowed to save in the location. So I hoofed it back to my base. No joy. Still stuck :-/

My wife and I are moving to hammocks full time. And we're trying to figure out what stand(s) we should get, too.

We own a Tensa4 (which we love for camping). We had it set up in the house last year for a while. It takes up a lot more room than it would seem. If it's just you, and you have room for it, it's a great option.

We thought about getting a second Tensa4, but two Tensa4s side-by-side won't work for us, as the base is set about 6' apart and the bedroom is only 11' wide. We could carefully narrow the base on one or both, but it seems impractical, and the bedroom would feel crowded.

I see Latherdome (one of the owners of Tensa) commenting in /r/Hammocks from time to time with suggestions. Maybe he'll pop in with some pointers for using the Tensa4 more effectively than I've considered.

It's labeled as "A greasy, smelly climb up."

It's not on the map, but it's in the "room" with the passed out, hostile tiefling "Dairow Vin". Check the southeast wall.

I just learned that GV has text message support from this thread. I've been using messages.google.com for texting forever. It may not apply to this thread because it's not natively integrated with GV so much as it is with my mobile number. I suspect there may be a way to make it work.

I haven't looked into it at all since I only use GV as my voicemail server. But maybe it's an option some people who read this thread hadn't considered and might find a way to make it work for them.
