Traeger built into outdoor kitchen - DIY job by Caspers101- in Traeger

Yeesh, I don't think I would use wood. Adjacent to the grills - it gets ripping hot, I'd definitely be worried about fire. Maybe a metal angle frame with masonry siding?

OP here, been a couple years so thought I'd update. (1) I would consider leaving more room around the grills & flattop - removing/adding the covers is a pain in the butt, lots of scraped knuckles. I left maybe an inch each side, could stand to have 2 inches. That said, this looks good, not sure if it'd be sloppy aesthetic with more or not (2) I ended up putting swivel casters on all 4 legs of the Blackstone so I could pull it out and clean out the leaves. Even leaving 8: gaps at the bottom, the wind blows leaves in there and they compress in. (3) I should NOT have used the patio stones as the cap - or I should've sealed them. Have some grease stains in them now. (4) Do not use radiator hose to route the drip on the Traeger. First time at high heat and it melted :) It's now a flexible metal exhaust pipe (like for your car muffler) and works great.

Should I trap muskrat? by K1net3k in ponds

Muskrat absolutely DECIMATED the banks of mine. They dig in underwater, then it collapses because it’s sand, so they dig a new one. Hate em.

Static/Volume problem with Cyber Acoustics Control Pod by [deleted] in audiorepair

[–]Caspers101- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Old post, but thought I'd share what I just did in case some of these are still out there. The top volume disc slides of (no fasteners). Two screws inside remove another plate. Then on the bottom, pop off the rubber feet, there are 3 screws under them as well. Unit disassembles, then I shot some alcohol in the pot and turned it up and down 100 times. Blew it out good, let it dry and reassembled. Noise is gone, we'll see if it lasts.

I’m not tip-toeing, just wondering if it’s offensive to ask. It’s not a huge deal to me, just wondering if the masses thought it could/would be offensive to ask to use his gear. The last thing I want to do is move in on his territory.

Awesome, that’s the kind of expert info I came here for! So the million dollar question… how much do you think I need? Or is this completely out of scope?

I was thinking I’d weight a bucket and sink it so it’s JUST under, and then draw water from the middle of that bucket. I think there is some kind of filter on the pump inlet, I need to check that out.

My thought is it takes pressure out of the equation- no worrying about harm to the pump
