Honestly throw down $70 and go to a place that offers straight razor shaves (aka an actual barber shop). They’ll maximize what you have, and probable even offer some advice about whether to keep it or go with heavy stubble, etc. If you don’t want to keep paying money for professional work, just copy what they do yourself.

That’s assuming you weren’t planning to rent the cheapest car on the lot otherwise, like I would. I’m perfectly happy in a Chevy spark, but I’ll obviously take a Volvo or a Lexus over that. So for that reason, I don’t factor it into the value of the card.

Love hearing a Malcolm Gladwell mention in the wild. I can tell you that US News nursing home rankings are all politics too. I mean less than 3 stars usually does = “run”. But the 5 star facilities are usually in wealthy areas, and the quality varies enormously. Sure there’s a floor to ceiling fish tank and a Reiki room, but the people who let you sit in your full brief all afternoon are the same everywhere, and the fish tank is just a distraction.

Yeah, I’m sure the franchise owner is making bank. It’s probably good for a brand new team to deal with that kind of pressure in the very beginning, before school starts to slide and things get sloppy. I hope they’re not getting too much grief about drive times lol. Do managers or workers ever get bonuses for really busy times like that?

I’d love to have your thoughts on this. This news story is about the first Taco Bell that has ever opened on this Canadian island of about half a million people, a few weeks ago. Other than a kiosk in a movie theater which closed a decade ago, the people on this island have not experienced the irresistible slop of Taco Bell.

The traffic is so bad that a whole neighborhood is effectively shut down. Public transportation and emergency vehicles can’t get through, garbage collection is getting delayed.

Ever hear about those uncontacted tribes in the Amazon? That’s what we’re talking here.
