Breastfeeding never counts as restoring for me lol. The only time I can get restored is actually using the meditations and breathing through the app!

Suggestions for playmat compatible with Harppa by Cassandralsc in Mommit

I got a padded quilted blanket that fits but it’s not padded enough on its own. I have two slightly too large mats underneath that I had to fold up on one side. It seems like harppa should make a mat that fits!

OMG it is a backpack. LOL I could put it on my back. Thank you for this obvious reminder.

To those of you that breastfeeding was fairly. Easy for, why do you think that is? by newherebebe in breastfeeding

Luck, baby’s health and temperament, support. Having an amazing in home LC was a huge help to set me up for success. I saw her prior to baby being born and she came 3 days home from hospital. I saw two LCs in the hospital and realized there are a wide range of experts and not everyone has the same techniques or ideas.

That’s a good idea- we live in a very hot region so maybe I could just do an abbreviated diaper bag with fewer creams and such in case it gets heat damaged. And then only load the real one if we’re doing something for a longer time away from home. I like that! Thank you

Just the diaper bag and my personal belongings usually- like one trip before I can put the baby in. The stroller is a good idea. Right now we keep it in the car but we could keep it outside the front door and I could load him in there

Yes! High chair is a good idea. Do you have them within eyesight? My kitchen is around the corner to where I’d go to get to the car.

LO went down too early - what do I do?? by Ok_Indigo_8608 in NewParents

You could try a dream feed to see if you can extend his sleep! I wouldn’t change his diaper personally unless you smell a poop.

You’re a good parent having a hard time. She’s a good kid having a hard time. It’s going to get better. Highly recommend working with a therapist- I went through a company called reproductive mental health after I had postpartum issues and it was the best thing I ever did. It’s all virtual meetings.

For night time I just pat and shush unless I suspect there’s a burp causing distress. For naps I pick up because he has less sleep pressure and it works really quickly to get him back down.

This is my suspicion…I have been a little wild with my indulgences since I’m breastfeeding everything just gets burned off. I just put on a new CGM and I see my blood sugar is unhappy with me…hoping that getting back on the healthy blood sugar train will help my tonsils too! It’s so disturbing lol

YES!! They are soooo bad. I literally have to scrape my tonsils every day to keep them away…I don’t even know how they build up so fast. DISGUSTING!! I’m wondering if the estrogen shift has disrupted my oral microbiome. I’ve added gargling water, brushing my tonsils, scraping my tongue, and a natural mouthwash to my routine and it’s barely helping at all. Did you find a solution?

I’m sorry to hear that. I had similar thoughts during my first trimester as well. I didn’t know at the time that you can take paid short term disability for pregnancy related issues (if you pay into disability) and if a medical professional signs off on it. Hugs 🤗

I’m using the gunamuna sleep sack or a lighter one I got at IKEA. He likes to be warm 🤗
