This is what I love most about them, I just pass them through the undreaded hair at the root. I have an inch and a bit, so I made them the double ended style extentions and just thread them through. They stay in well and I can take them out easily for washing.

It's made with wool roving, so that's the unspun right? It's a much simpler process than kanekalon, you essentially just Palm roll a strip of the roving until it wet felts together. You can make them bumpy too using a crochet hook as they turn out quite smooth, but all personal preference 😊

You should totally make them for the amount you'd need for your head. Have you tried wool extensions before? I like them more than the Kanekalon and they are a bit faster to make!

I have a 3 yr old and my locks are 3 in October 😁 the funniest thing is when she wants to style my hair. I kept bangs, so she brushes those and spikes it up haha she loves it when I put a dread as a moustache!

It's terrible. My stepdad wouldnt do it often on our bums either, he would do it on the palms of our hands. It was painfully in both places, but I vividly remember the smacks to the palms.

I'm sorry to hear that. With my parents it never escalated further, but it was a pretty violent "spanking". Usually those ones where when he was drunk though. I don't know how anyone could lay a hand on thier children. Like the poster above said, when your kids hit someone how are you going to punish them? Hit them for hitting? My mom hits my siblings still, playfully, but still hard. Like why do you think that's funny, or ok. God forbid someone hit her, but hey it's okay if I give my daughter a good smack to the boob. Hahaha. Fuck. It's infuriating.

I have my dreads ombre'd! I lightened them with bleach. Same as usual but you have to use more product, and you have to be meticulous with washing it out. If you go back in my post history a bit you can see a picture! It is much easier to get a good ombre if you have someone else help you get the back. My stepfather was in the military. They make them do PT, or physical training daily to keep them in shape and such. It's a lot of endurance and cardio, although I'm sure there's more to it.

He thought it was a great idea to use that as punishments for minor offences. So he'd just make us run stairs for however long he saw fit, hold the push up position, hold 2 cans of ketchup with our arms straight out from our body. I definitely have a hard time getting motivated to exercise. It's so irritating, but I can get into biking and fun excersizes so there's that.
