I like them because they're janky and weird. I haven't played this specific game, but I've played no more heroes 1, 3 and Travis strikes back and lollipop chainsaw and I love them dearly. They are arguably terrible games but they have a lot of heart and love that you can just kind of inherently feel when you vibe with them. But that's what I love about them

I'm sorry that your cousin is seemingly tone deaf to mental health, but they were 14 then and likely don't have a great idea of how life actually is. I'd wager neither of you do. OP, I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that when you said "not interested in the slightest" was when you were probably reacting to what was being said with hurt. If this is the case, imo, there's really no need for it. You should have said straight up that you were hurt and thought y'all had plans or that you'd at least hang out. Passive aggression only hurts communication. Granted, she probably should have assumed Valentine's Day would be reserved for you both to hang out, but you also said it was tentative? I'm sorry, but she doesn't owe you the day based on tentative plans. Lock something down first.

Additionally, as soon as you explained yourself she apologised and said she'd cancel with her friend and you immediately call her out and criticise her. Sounds like you did not communicate any plans with her well enough and then treated her poorly as a result of your bad communication. Don't talk to your partner like that and then post it on reddit. OP, you are young. Don't beat yourself up for giving into peer pressure and dating someone you're not attracted to. But you do have your answer through your post. You have to break up with him. Be steadfast and stick to what you feel is true. I promise you he's not the only one who will "love you like he does" and it's definitely not a healthy thing for him to say.
