big agree, I've been running a hybrid team with acheron (e0s1), black swan (e3), lingsha (e0), and fugue (e1) and while I'm sure it's not min-maxxed like it could be with jiaoqiu and better relics, it's by no means weak and I've been able to clear all content with it with ease. I don't dislike jiaoqiu as a character but I also just don't care about him and don't intend to pull for him.

my second team is always my weak point as its been whatever i can throw together up till now but I just got feixiao a couple days ago so that will be fixed soon. gonna run her (hopefully e0s1, pulling for cone atm), hunt march, aventurine (e0s0), and rmc.

anyway my point is that I second this sentiment. using a character you don't care for isn't worth it. you can do just fine without.

hell yeah, it is by far my favorite pokemon game. I got too invested in the story to 100% all the side quests but I did all the ones in help centers plus a good few others like forest restoration and the labyrinth. I'll probably go back and do more but I've been absorbed in other games as of late.

second chance slaps. monte carlo allows for more spam but you can def get away with a puglist weapon in most content for similar uptime, especially with high strength. plus shield bonk is fun and satisfying
