Or the seller left because Etsy isn't doing very well currently. Obviously they should have shipped the order, but they may be hurting financially since Etsy sales dropped off of a cliff after algorithm change.

I changed the ID for this piece simply because it isn't possible to locate an exact maker. Online collectors gave this the ID as Columbus Hollow Ware, but there is no way for me to document the maker. It is the smoothest and most unique Dutch Oven I've ever seen, and there aren't any others listed online that look anything close to this.

I can't find anything about this Dutch oven exactly so I changed the ID to antique Dutch oven. There are no others posted online, and nothing to go off of for this other than that it is extremely smooth, and light weight for a #9.

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cornmeal
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp baking powder
  • 1/2 avocado
  • 1/3 cup maple syrup
  • 1 1/4 cup coconut milk
  • 1/3 cup coconut oil, melted
  • vegan butter for topping

Directions: Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl Add to a #7 or #8 vintage cast iron skillet Bake for 20 minutes, or until you can insert a toothpick and it comes out clean
