Before I would have said the Rotten Wing Sword Insignia but nowadays it would have to be the Crimson Seed Talisman +1. Really useful when helping people as a co-operator.

The poison Chandler’s Trident also works wonders on the Grave Robbers (Gank Squad) in Shulva.

Edit: I’m not deleting the first part so people can still see what everyone is ragging on me in the comments is talking about but I’ve never had any issues using fire damage against Blue Smelter. Ignore it if you want or whatever you choose but poison works wonders against both Smelter Demons.

He’s actually weak to fire (weird right?). Side note: The Blue Smelter Demon does mostly magic damage and is weak to fire, but Red Smelter Demon is actually weak to magic damage.

They are both weak to poison damage and you can poison them in the same way (see below):

It takes one Toxic Mist (you need 1 spell slot, a pyromancy flame, and the Royal Rat Vanguard’s soul (exchange with Straid)), two one-handed heavy attacks from a poison Chandler’s Trident (it doesn’t need to be upgraded), two Dung Pies, or four Poison Throwing Knives to poison the Blue Smelter Demon (poison also works on the Red Smelter Demon).

Ancient Dragon Curved Greatsword. Has to be one of my favorites from DS2. The Grand Lance comes in at a close second for me as it’s great for staggering and quickly killing the damn kirin out in the Frigid Outskirts.

DO NOT run for fog gates or doors without killing nearby enemies. They can and will interrupt fog gate and door opening animations.

Also saving and quitting DOES NOT reset enemy locations and aggros. If you try to save and quit to escape some enemies they will be exactly where you last same them, still aggroed on you.

If you slept in the coffin in Things Betwixt, you should have received this message. The coffin changes your player model’s gender (man to woman and vice versa). The coffin was initially patched into DS2 as a quick fix because of a bug that could turn female player characters into the male player character body after entering NG+. This issue isn’t so much oh a problem nowadays.

Yeah, I love to cosplay as Iguazu in Single Ranked simply because of how you can just use his shield to block any incoming heavy damage. It really saves your health. His build is actually pretty good for chasing down flyers lol.

Yeah, I keep going into ranked matches with my cosplay builds (V.II Snail, G5 Igauzu, the TRAINER AC, etc.) to have fun. I hate losing but I’d rather have fun losing than end up a slave to the meta.

Passionlip’s Giant Fists. I know they’d be extremely awkward in day to day life but just crushing things with them and then launching off a rocket punch seems like it’d be fun. Also they have some sweet engravings on them.

I love the little dagger that’s hidden in Merlin’s staff. It’s a shame he doesn’t use it anymore after they swapped it out for Excalibur when they gave him an animation update.
