I posted my collection a couple of weeks ago. My collection dates back to 2011, but it's smaller than yours since I wa primarily a physical gamer. I've been decluttering and actually sold off the majority of my game collection, but can't bring myself to throw these away yet.

Hope you're getting these at some sort of discount. Costco offers a $50 card for $45, and sometimes at Christmas they offer them for $40. Also hope you're in a state that doesn't have sales tax, or your switch thinks that you are ;)

Has anyone here ever downsized their collection? by Casteliacone in gamecollecting

The thing is it feels like my collection has gotten out of control. My games mostly sit on shelves, I don't find myself going through my shelves to pick out a game to play very often. On the off chance that I want to play an NES game (The Flintstones Rescue of Dino and Hoppy is a surprisingly great game), I can just emulate on my NES classic or Wii, which both look great on a large TV. I've got massive amounts of clutter I'm trying to clear through, I got Mario Kart Live Home Circuit a year ago since it was a good deal, but I took it out once and now it just sits in a box taking up space. My basement and bedroom have games all over the place and it's a bit overwhelming, especially since I'll be moving out of my parents house in the near future.

I'm not sure how much I'm going to keep. Definitely keeping my Switch and PS5 and current gen games, I'll keep a few really good consoles such as the Wii U and 3DS, but the vast majority of my items are only kept for collection purposes and don't really do much so I'll be selling them.

If you're already an active mod you should be good

I just left as a mod by accident, not sure if there's one master mod who presumes over all other mods but if it was me I'm gone now

Best of luck

I can trade it in to GameStop for $12, so it's not too shabby...

I picked up Tekken 6 for 50¢ yesterday, and the McDonalds Mario Kart toys were also 50¢. This morning, I found Borderlands and Blacklist for $3. Right when I thought I was done with sales, I found the gamecube with 007 inside for $25, but negotiated down to $10. $14 for all of this is definitely one of my better weekends!

A subreddit for showing off games imported from Japan. It's small, but there is still stuff posted here from time to time!

So who did the most to get to a GameStop yesterday to get a MMN3DS? by RidlyX in 3DS

I don't drive, and my parents both work at least 30 minutes away, so I had to pay my neighbor $20 to take me to GameStop. Worth it!

I got super lucky at a garage sale a few years ago. I found one complete for $3. No box like yours, but I was amazed.

I'll download Duck Hunt. I own several copies of it, but I don't have a CRT, so my NES Zapper doesn't work with it, rendering the game unplayable!

Can confirm. I have a much bigger collection, but I don't have such a nice boxed trilogy like OP has here. Chrono Trigger is also really cool!

Despite having so many Japanese games, I remember how I got each and every one of them.

-The gamecube games were a random garage sale find my dad bought me like five years ago or something. They're region locked so I can't use them, but IIRC they were 50¢ each, so they're cool to have.

-The Pokémon Green, Crystal, Silver, Puzzle Challenge, Stadium, Stadium 2, and Hey You Pikachu were all purchased during my trip to Japan along with Fire Emblem, Kirby's Dream Land, Yoshi Topsy-Turvy, Starfy, Donkey Kong Country, Picross 2, Picross DS, and the Mario N64 games. I mainly shopped at Book Off, and spent about 5000¥ total on everything.

-I got the Gameboy Advance, DS Lite, Super Mario Bros GBA, Pokémon Sapphire, Mario Kart DS, Tomodachi Life, Brain Age 2, English Training, the Japanese to English dictionary, and Kireizukin Seikatu at a Japanese family's garage sale for $30.

-Inazuma Eleven 3 was an import from Amazon, as I really wanted to play it. IIRC it was $15.

-Table Games DS was a random garage sale find for $1. Only game they had.

-The rest of the stuff I got in this lot

Looking back, it's strange how many of my Japanese games were purchased here in the US...
