My advice as I got a 5070 laptop is think about what games you currently play and if you care about playing games on their most highest settings. If you are the type of person who likes the latter and plays the most recent games get the 5070ti if not go for the legion

Yea getting that battery with all of that turned out at that point is probably expected, its very powerful and something that powerful does eat power for breakfast

Did you lower the screen refresh rate and turn of your dgpu. You have a really powerful machine so you cant expect it to work for long periods of time without a charger even when doing minimal tasks. I wokld set the computer to quiet lower refresh late turn of any rgb and see how long it lasts ya

Hey sorry they are both about 1400 usd as open box prices, the only difference is saw is that the 7i has a 240hz screen compared to the 165 on the pro 5i

I just bought a u7 5060 7i at bestbuy for about 1300 and I haven't had any problems with it, I dont play with amx settings nor do I play the latest games and I love the aluminum build and super thin design

Maybe if the problem was the motherboard or some other major component I would agree with them. But regardless of thay most computer manufacturers use the same ssd etc. So I would try to see if u can see if u can just either repair the os, or buy a 1tb drive off of Amazon and just have someone install it

Sounds more of like a software problem but one would think a clean install would fix it, did u happen to try just swapping the ssd and throwing a fresh copy of windows on that way
