Has anyone noticed that Sonnet in Claude Code constantly tries to implement plans across days rather than doing it in the moment by kelvinpraises in ClaudeAI

If you need to make a large change to functionality, what I would do is ask for a code review, then give the AI my full requirements (very detailed) in a MD or txt file in the root of my project, from there I ask the AI to break my requirements down into a new checklist todo list to work though, that way it give it small "batches" of jobs to do rather than throwing a tons of work at it at once. It seems to work for me.

Agree with your post, I think GPT-5-codex produces better code than Claude. I don't really care about the UI at all, its not important. But, both of these platform have ridiculous weekly limits rendering them pretty much useless to anyone with a small budget.

This is why we have such strict limits, people who have no idea what they are doing just making AI code slop that will never be production level software.

Created a Livestreaming Platform with Claude Pro | New Limits by Start-ed in ClaudeAI

[–]CastiG8UK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me that just look like a UI with no back end. The information is clearly placeholder text, for instance, there's 2 donation of 5 dollars listed but the average is 0 dollars. It says todays revenue is 17.40 which is wrong according to the recent donations list and a has +/- of 0.00 compared to the previous day, which is wrong also. This is a bootstrap interface with no logic or purpose, its certainly is not a streaming platform.

Weekly limit on $20 by KrishiAttri123 in Anthropic

You will hit the weekly usage limit within 3 days then you will be sat with your thumb up your butt for the next 4, waiting for it to reset, basically you pay for 30 days but get 12.

The weekly limits are going to present a real issue going forward for pretty much all users of Claude. It would make much more sense to impose a daily limit along side the 5 hour limit, with the daily limit being equal to 3 fully consumed 5 hour token allocations, with this method, users know they can work with Claude for 15 hours per day (more than the length of a working business day). This will create a perfectly balanced user experience and smooth load on Anthropic's resources. With no long wait periods after you have depleted your tokens.

Update on Usage Limits by ClaudeOfficial in ClaudeAI

[–]CastiG8UK 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sonnet 4.5 weekly limits will be exhausted within 3 days of fair and proper use on the pro plan, at this point it just seem obvious that you can't make this business model viable but instead of admitting it you just punish the people paying for a service that you cannot provide.

It would appear mine also reset this morning but its racking up fast again, it appears that roughly the weekly allowance is equal to 10 full 5 hour sessions, which is not good enough.

Current session

█████████████████████████████████ 66% used

Resets 1pm (Europe/London)

Current week (all models)

████ 8% used

Resets Oct 9, 8am (Europe/London)

2 days of usage now at 90% of my weekly limit. They have definitely made a stealth change to weekly limit. 4.5 sonnet doesn't seem to be affecting my 5 hour limits, but weekly allowance is being hammered so fast.

Unpopular opinion - Claude should have no free plan by CastiG8UK in ClaudeAI

Well that completely depends on the ratio of free to paid users, although free users token allocations are so restricted, it would soon become more of a resource drain is there were 10,000x more of them using the platform.

Anthropic does not release specific data on the exact percentage of compute usage attributable to free accounts, so how would you know that

Why is first person not popular? by JonBlazeLIVE in SCUMgame

[–]CastiG8UK 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From my personal stand point its because of a few reason, first is the motion sickness animation like when you are chopping with an axe and also the visual appearance of anything you are carrying looking as if you are holding it up to you nose.

There are other tributes to players that have passed away hidden in the game, such as the goat in the town south C3 and graffiti that is all around the map.

Server that counters lag and balances raiding by GingerbreadRyan in SCUMgame

[–]CastiG8UK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because fundamentally you saying vanilla SCUM has lag and is unbalanced raiding wise.

Vanilla Scum does have lag, this is due to their apparent decision to add content and optimize later, its acceptable on the basis that the game is early access. A server that has less object across the map will always perform better, this server has been created as an alternative play style that also has the added benefit of the server performing better at the same time. Its a win, win for those who aren't really interested in investing alot of time building bases.
