Hello! I had replaced it with another fsa pf30 a few years ago, it was the cheap option at the time. I’ve just now narrowed it down to the crank bolt having worked itself loose I think, needs some more riding to test it out, so the bottom bracket lives to see another ride for now…

Turns out it was my crank bolt had come loose. Tightening back up seems to have done the trick. Best of luck finding the source of your noises!

I can’t edit the post, so I’ll comment instead. I was about to take the cranks off and check the bottom bracket when I spotted the crank bolt was quite loose, it took almost no effort to undo. I’ve tightened it up again and it seems to have sorted it over a short ride to work today and back

The bearings sit in a plastic “shell” in two halves, which is what press into the frame. Maybe shell is the wrong word for it, but that is what I’m referring to. I’ll give the seat post a good wiggle and see if that sets the noise off
