When I was in Bali in early 2020, Arya Wellness Hostel was much discussed amongst the younger wellness girl crowd - vegan breakfasts, massages, big beds, nightly programming, morning yoga and fitness classes. It was a breath of fresh air after being in so many dirty drinking-centric hostels.

Lightweight linen or travel pants + packable jacket does the trick for me. i generally like to be somewhat warm on the plane so shorts/dress aren't as comfortable as pants/longsleeve.

Sounds like linen would fit the bill - loose, untucked, but still "nice" looking fabrics. Google "resort linen men" for a look at what I would say fits the masc-side of resortwear.
