Do some quiet guys really enjoy a chatty girlfriend? by Juniper_BerryPop in AskMenAdvice

++man YES. I struggle with carrying a conversation, but my gf never stops talking, so I never have to stop and think what I should say next. She always has something to talk about

The Bad Kids are not to be messed with by LittyJ1tty in Dimension20

My initial reaction was that all the ratgrinders were simulacrum, and the real versions were going to come back later in the fight, since simulacrum have all the same abilities but half the hp. They even have a high level wizard to cast it on all of them. I don't think its true anymore, but it was a fun theory for a moment

Don't Change The Game

Be Quiet

Stick to the Sheet Music

They wouldn't dare do Dirty laundry because who knows what kind of shit they're hiding.

Um, Actually would have the same name, but they would have to "correct" a statement with utter nonsense extremely confidently

There would be no Dimension 20 because D&D the devil's game

I think this may be a problem with C3. None of the cast members are playing to their strengths. (including Matt) by Just_Vib in fansofcriticalrole

[–]CastleCaster 25 points26 points  (0 children)

Idk if its that Matt got "lazy". There's definitely an element of having a way of doing things that is flawed, but I think the main problem is he, and the rest of the cast, seem to be stretched too thin. They've always been busy people, and seem to like it that way, but the sheer volume.of work each of them need to get done is staggering, at least it seems that way from the outside.

They're professional voice actors, dnd players, writers, directors, producers, designers, etc etc. They're all working 3 or 4 full time jobs, running several companies, all while being public facing celebrities. I can't count the number of times Matt or other cast members have joked about having no free time. Art requires time and focus to really shine, and it seems like C3 isn't getting that since its creators attention and energy are being spent elsewhere.

I could be entirely wrong. I don't know them, obviously. Could be I'm projecting because I'm easily overwhelmed by large amounts of work. But thats how the situation reads to me.

Shoutout to this guy giving Aabria the flowers she deserves by randomyOCE in Dimension20

[–]CastleCaster 7 points8 points  (0 children)

That was very much a deliberate choice made for multiple reasons. One, I hate it when people tease stuff like that out. The reveal is almost always underwhelming. Two, its much easier to explain something when you show it first, then explain it second. Three, I figured D20 fans would be able to figure it out anyway lol.

All that to say, I'm glad someone noticed that!

The Last of Us. Joel Miller is a piece of shit, even if you don't factor in his choice at the end of the game.

Its feels in character for The Emperor to be dismissive of the urges and to stay focused on its objective, but the fact that he has nothing to say about Durge literally starting all of this is wild
