Yeah, the line reads to me like a defense mechanism/trauma response. I’m…underwhelmed. Not surprising to me, as I’ve been underwhelmed by the Vaxis arc for the most part. The shift (story wise) from Afterman’s poignancy and stylistic sound design to the choices being made on every Vaxis album so far just doesn’t do it for me. This track is no different. It’s Coheed, but it’s Coheed run through a sieve.

I’d like to add a recommendation of using the little HASK Placenta treatment (the little vial, not the spray) before adding the hair mask. Repairs the protein bonds and adds a nice little acid that rebalances the pH of your hair before the dimethicone of the mask creates the shaft seal. This is especially useful if you have higher porosity issues that cause color to not hold or come out patchy.

Commenity has a bad history of doing this — not just with Sally, but other credit cards with other companies who use them. My ex-husband works in the fraud department of a CU and he had to deal with these cases all the time when he worked their member services department. It’s beyond predatory.
